Thought we would try this place as I thought they served Italian food especially pasta's. I was hoping for some Linguine Frutta de mare or chicken parmagian. Friday night traffic helped us decide to find something local. We were there early and one of only three tables being served. The bread was a bucket of a baguette and a dark whole grained bun. Both tasted like frozen tasteless dough. I ordered the bowtie pasta with blackened chicken & Gorgonzola cheese, garlic & sun dried tomatoes ($14). The chicken was dry, and while I love Gorgonzola, this dish was dry, salty and I could tell I would have indigestion tonight and I did. My wife had a small salad, an appetizer of chicken wrapped in a won ton & fried and in a drizzle of pesto sauce. She was also disappointed. I had a glass of wine $8 and our total bill was $40 + $6 tip. Service was good, but they were not busy. We are foodies and love to seek out good food and value. We could have eaten at several Italian restaurants that served delicious food for less$. For the price & cute atmosphere, I expected a better menu, and better tasting food. By the way, they served our dinner about 6-7 minutes after ordering so the ingredients were already cooked, that's why the chicken seemed so dry. Next time I will go to Marios or Sonny's, or Pomodoro in Laguna.
Pros: Really cute atmosphere
Cons: Very limited menu - food disappointing
