My wife and I stumbled upon this place and did a package they had for a night. We were surprised at what a great place this was. The property is really well maintained. Clean rooms. Very nice rooms and beds. The bar and restaurant attached was great with entertainment. The staff from Hyssa checking us in with a friendly face and all the information. And Diner, Matt our server made sure we felt like we were very important and very personal. \r \r I would defiantly call this one of the best values I have had in a long time. We did a package with room dinner, wine and desert. We had a great time and a relaxing time as well.\r \r We had our two year old with us and the restaurant personal made us feel like she was very welcome as well. \r \r Great place!! more

My husband and I recently stopped at the Sundance Mountain Lodge for one night. We had been driving for several hours and needed to stop for the night. I knew nothing about the Monument area but luckily a nice clerk at the 7Eleven across the highway suggested we stay here. \r \r We arrived with no reservation but since it was a Tuesday night we were able to get a room right away. The gal at the Front Desk was very helpful and friendly and even upgraded my husband and I to a courtyard facing room. The price was very reasonable and also included a complimentary breakfast, free wifi, and an outdoor hot tub. They were also pet friendly which is hard to find now a days. We didn't bring our dog this trip but will definitely keep this place in mind the next time we visit Colorado. \r \r The room itself was very clean and comfortable. Plus having the courtyard view was such a treat. There was even a nice patio to sit on that was perfect for sipping a glass of wine while looking at the mountains. Couldn't have asked for a more convenient and relaxing hotel even if it was just for the night. We will definitely be back! more

I purchased a room with a groupon, needing to have a Mommy break in a big way! i drove the short distance to Monument, Co. from my home in Colorado SPrings. Had no idea what to expect. To my surprise, i happened upon a quaint, mountain lodge that was spread across a landscape of water, ponds and tee pees. The execute suite was fabulous and i felt like a Queen. I could sit outside by my room and read with the sounds of water and the mountains as a back drop. The meals in the lounge were good, and the happy hour wine was even better. I FOUND MY AFFORDABLE GETAWAY FROM MY DAY TO DAY GRIND! \r THANK YOU! more

We have stayed there twice. The room we had for Halloween only cost $70 and was quite clean and comfortable. This time we stayed and got the suite for $140 and it was very nice! Not only was it clean and comfortable, it had plenty of room an amenities. The king size bed was HUGE!!! The staff was friendly, food was good (especially for a continental breakfast), and the bar was warm and cozy. I highly recommend this resort if you want a quiet getaway for any type of trip. Our second trip we took our daughter and she loved having her own space, with her own tv. We will definitely stay again. We are Marriot Silver Elite members, but since there isn't one in this town, the place is a cozy sub. more

We were pleasantly surprised how wonderful Sundance Mountain Lodge was and had a great experience. The entire facility was so charming, extremely clean, lots of very nice upgrades and special touches. The restaurant was also wonderful - very welcoming, excellent food, and great staff! We will definitely return and stay again. more

A ""hidden gem"" right in front of my nose! We had the BEST time! If you're looking for a quick escape for 1 night or a weekend, this is the place! The onsite restaurant, Oakley's, had AWESOME food and was well worth the $ spent! The staff is welcoming and made you feel at home! I look forward to returning soon!! more

We stayed at the lodge Nov 30 - Dec 2nd for my nieces wedding. Our stay was excellent! The property was beautiful, the rooms were very nice and incredibly quiet. Most of the family and friends in the wedding party stayed at the lodge and it was nice that we could use Oakley's as our meeting place for breakfast etc. The rehersal dinner was held at Oakley's and the reception was held in the larger meeting room downstairs. The staff was very accomodating and friendly (except for the male bartender in Oakley's) Maybe he was having a bad night, but after the receiption, we went upstairs to have a nightcap and a snack. He ran out of Cointreau and tried to substitue Triple Sec in it's place. He was also short with us when we tried to order. After the triple sec mishap he forgot we ordered anything and never place it in the kitchen. We finally left and went to Taco Bell. Other than that it was a wonderful time and experience more

Love this place. Have stayed here a few times and had a pleasurable stay so we decided to have my daughters wedding and reception here. The outside courtyard ceremony was beautiful and the reception/banquet hall was very spacious with a large dance floor that accommodated our 100 guests very nicely. The fire pits with smores was a success for all the kids (big and little) at the wedding:-) The food is spectacular, service is great, and the rooms clean and quiet. We had over 50 family members with rooms and they were all great. Bridal suite is amazing. We will be back for another get away soon.....I like that fact that they have pet rooms. Oakleys Café & Bistro is very good (best steak ever) with live music and entertainment on weekends. more

My husband and I stayed at Sundance Mountain Lodge while were in town to ride in the Elephant Rock Century Ride in Castle Rock. The service at the Lodge was terrific. I had contacted the lodge a few days before we flew out to CO to see if they would store our bikes (which we had shipped before we left) until we arrived. They were very accommodating and had our bikes safely locked up in storage for us until we arrived. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast they provided each morning was nice. We enjoyed our stay at the lodge and the hospitality we received while we were there. more

We couldn't find a hotel in Denver, so we went a little further south and found this beautiful location. It had a little stream and waterfall running right outside our door. We lucked out and in the huge courtyard a beautiful wedding was held at sundown. Comfortable bed!!!!!!! So awesome!! Coming back here with our kids and granddaughter more

We had our daughters wedding reception and several guests from out of town stay at the Sundance Mountain Lodge! The location was perfect from the Air Force Base in Colorado Springs! The accommodations were great for those of us that came from out of town! We had family members with health issues and the staff was great at meeting their needs. It was nice to have a place we could all have dinner together and enjoy one another's company as well as the entertainment in the Bistro! We would recommend this hotel as a great reception place! It met all our needs. Rose and Renee were very helpful in the reception planning since our daughter and now son-in-law live in California so most of the planning was long distance! Thank you Rose and Renee!\r more
