Hanging baskets 8/17/2008

They have a very nice selection of hanging baskets every spring. Their baskets always hold up nicely over the summer. Good selection of hostas, too. more

First class garden center and nursery! 3/18/2007

We have done business with Suncrest for many years and have always been very pleased with the high quality of plants, shrubs, and trees that they carry. I believe that most full-priced items come with a 1-year warranty, trees carry the same warranty if planted by Suncrest and a 6-month warranty if planted by the customer. We have a maple tree which was planted by Suncrest and it is growing very vigorously! Wonderful, professional, polite landscaping/planting staff are very highly recommended by me! \r Suncrest also has many very qualified arborists on staff and one can make appointments for free consultations at ones home for landscaping and planting advice. We have arranged such meetings twice, with great success each time. \r Every perennial, shrub, and tree that we have purchased has more than met our expectations. A lot of the perennial selections are rather difficult to find at an average garden center, and most of the stock is raised in the Northeast Ohio zone, so the stock is more

Great Variety, Lousy Service 11/10/2005

Great variety of extremely healthy nursery stock. They have really creative displays to give you ideas for your garden. Many lovely yard ornaments and gift items also. Customer service leaves something to be desired however. Make sure you have plenty of time when you go. It takes awhile to get assistance or answers to your questions. Also, if you purchase a tree or large shrub, you must pay a $10 deposit on the pot. If you return it, you are supposed to get your money back. Bear in mind that Suncrest puts large stickers on each pot to this effect. When we took ours back, the refused to give us our deposit back even though they had the Suncrest sticker on them. They said we needed our original receipt. We had been doing a large project and had saved all of our pots for one return trip. We lost a great deal of money because of this.
