old time charm 10/19/2005

The Sun is a small town, old-fashioned theater. Quaint and charming...and very cozy. This is what going to the theater used to be like...crowded, but surrounded with people you know...so people visit and say hi...friendly. The movie treats available are popcorn and BUTTER, and jujubes, goobers and raisinettes. Time travel a bit...enjoy a movie in small town america. more

Cute little theater, with great prices 9/23/2005

This is a nice older, theatre located in the heart of downtown WIlliamston. You wont find many thetres like this that still exist and are in working order. There is only one movie playing at a time...only one theatre, but the price is only $3.50. The consession stand is small but features a wide selection and great prices once again. I give it two thumbs up!! more

AWESOME theater with charming atmosphere 8/21/2005

Hands down this is the most charming movie theater and town in central Michigan. I assure you that nothing holds a candle to this charming theater. That isn’t to say this is some super up to date hi fidelity theater (in fact I don’t think it even has surround sound) but it does have charm exuding from every angle. Fantastic place for a date or simply a cool place to hang out with friends. The popcorn is delicious and for only two dollars for an extra large bucket you can’t go wrong. Speaking of money, the admission is only $3.50 for ALL audiences at ALL times of the day. That is, you can get a movie and a popcorn for two for less than ten bucks on a Friday night . . . where else can you get a deal like that?!?! more
