Christmas eve turned out to be such a great day weather wise that my wife and I decided to rent a boat on lake Austin to look at property. I found Sun & Fun on citysearch and must admit I was not sure what to expect after reading the last review. We decided to give it a try since their location was convenient to the hotel we were staying at in downtown Austin. I called and spoke to a gentleman who explained how lake Austin was normally drained the first week of January and how all the boats had been winterized and out of commission to protect against a potential freeze. I asked if he knew anyone else that might be open and he recommended one other place and even took the time to look up the telephone number for me. I called the other agency a few times only to get an answering machine. I called Sun & Fun again and explained our situation about wanting to look at lake property since we were considering moving to Austin and the fact we may not get back to Austin again until March. He asked me what time we wanted to depart and for how long. I stated two hours at his mercy. He mentioned their flag ship wakeboard boat is currently on a trailer and can only go out with a driver, but would be willing to send it out to accomidate us. I was ecstatic and the thought of having a driver who knows the lake and could act as a tour guide was fantastic. This particular boat rents for $150 per hour including driver and gear, plus fuel, but offered to lower the rate to $100 per hour, plus fuel since the other boats were not available. I agreed and we met one hour later. The driver was prompt, courteous, considerate and answered any questions we had. I mentioned the negative review and asked the driver if the owner of the business Kevin was aware of it. He told me not that he knew of and the owners name is not Kevin. Evidently the person that wrote the last review must have Sun & Fun mixed up with somebody else. Incredible Experience and I would recommend Sun & Fun to everyone. \r
