Lived here about 6 years...was great at first...awesome location across from huge public park and walking distance to grocery and drug stores.
Last couple of years, the service from management has turned to CRAP! The parent company (CNC Investments) forced the one really good site manager to resign a couple of years ago for reasons passing understanding.
Since then, management has continuously turned over every few months (or sooner)...CNC must be an absolutely HORRIBLE company to work for or something. They didn't always own the complex. They bought it out a few years ago.
Facilities are maintained on the cheap.
Maintenance requests are delayed or ignored or even closed out with no work done.
Office hours are the same as when most people are away at work. Only open on Saturday now on the weekend but often the office closes during open hours with no advance notice.
There is an atrocious insect infestation issue (roaches and spiders), because preventative extermination services are inadequate and infrequent.
Unit duct work is shared so non-smoker units get smoke odors from smoker units.
During the economic downturn, the complex started running deeply discounted move-in specials just to fill units, which attracted a lot of undesirable tenants. It used to be a nice, clean, safe complex.
Even though we have a city police officer and a county deputy sheriff living on-site, there has been vandalism in the laundry room.
Seems like a lot of the security lighting around the parking lot remains off during the night.
I have my own reasons for still being here, but I assure you they have nothing to do with great service or anything.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND new residents accustomed to pleasant surroundings and efficient service move in here.
If you like this particular area of Bradenton, there are PLENTY of other complexes in the immediate area you can look at--some are even newer and look nicer, or at least have been updated and well-maintained.
