I am very disappointed in the service from this florist. I spent $90 on a bouquet for my mother for her 75th birthday and I asked Karen (the owner) for a bouquet that had lots of lillies in it, since they are my mother's favorite flower. When I visited my mother 2 days after they were delivered, I was very disappointed! There were only 7 lillies, Karen LIED and when she promised me it would be a bouquet ""full of lillies"" , instead it was filled up with lots of worthless, cheap, filler; pink daisies and lots of green floiage. It was a very drab bouquet that looked like it cost $45, not $90! I will never go back here again, and I DO NOT recommend this florist. more

I am a last minute person... anyone can attest to that fact... it was 4:00pm exactly two hours before my 6:00pm civil ceremony at a restaurant in the design district... I had no decorations whatsoever and I was starting to panick. As Karen was leaving work after a full day's work on a Saturday she spotted me panicked in front of her building looking for flower arrangements for what was essentially my wedding ceremony. Within 45 minutes not only did Karen whip up 9 AMAZING flower arrangements, she made sure to give me the best for my budget and she totally pulled through for me!! I received COUNTLESS compliments for the gorgeous work she did with a limited amount of time... I recommend to everyone and anyone! Even if you don't know what you want Karen will give you the most beautiful arrangements and you will be pleasantly surprised to see it was exactly what you wanted! PICK THIS FLORIST~~~~ I would just like to thank Karen for being so accomadating affordable and just wonderful. Karen designed a plant/flower arrangement for my mother's birthday (same day and delivered w/in 2 hours). I was not there to see it because I am in NC and she is in NJ. she was overjoyed. It was more than we both expected. I just can not thank her enough she was so very happy to tears happy. I could not be there to bring her a present or even pick out a present and in my stead they did an even more wonderful job. Thank you so much SUMMIT HILLS FLORIST. God Bless more

Summit Hills Florist is awesome they are very nice and their work is beautiful!! On short notice they were on top of our order for a very special casket spray. They delivered on time and exactly what I ordered . They went over and beyond what I expected for the price. I would recommend them to anyone for great service and I could not be more greatful. more

I ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday today and sometimes you don't know what the arrangement is going to look like especially when you live 2000 miles away. Well I have to tell you that my daughter called to thank me and said it was absolutely gorgeous. The most beautiful floral arrangements. Classy and elegant without being precious. Send a bouquet of these to anyone with discriminating tastes and they will enjoy them. They do especially nice things with tulips when they are in season. more

I have never in my life been treated as poorly as I have by this woman, Karen, the owner of this business. She has lied to me more than once, she does NOT honor what has been ordered but instead sends out what she wants to send without getting authorization, and then lies about getting authorization! She sends out cheap items not ordered and then yells and hangs up the phone if you call to ask her to make it right. STAY AWAY! more

I've been a customer of Karen for many years and I continue to be amazed at the beautiful work she does, every time without fail. The flowers and arrangements they provided for my daughter's wedding were unlike any I?ve seen. Recently I needed to order flowers for a funeral. Wanting something special and unique, but having no idea of what that might be, I left the decision up to Karen and her team. They made the most beautiful white-basket arrangement of absolutely gorgeous fresh flowers. I was so pleased! That's what I really love about Summit hills Florist; if I want to order something really unique, but don?t have a clue, I just leave it up to them and they always come through and make me proud. They are endlessly creative and their flowers are always the freshest; no bruised or days-old flowers like you might receive from other florists. And the folks at Summit Hills Florist are so nice. They really make one feel that their order is very special. I know that I can trust them to make and deliver a flower arrangement that will stand out among all others, every time. Thanks again! more

The people here are super nice and welcoming. The place is very nice and convenient. I've used Karen for many, many years now. I must say I have never been unsatisfied with her work. These days, I don't even give her direction. I tell her what I want, what the occasion is, for whom it's for, and let her create. When I pick it up, it's always better than I could have imagined, she does quality work and a great price. more

I had to pick a star...but if given a choice this local business would get ZERO stars....would NEVER EVER recommend Summit Hills Florist to anyone. The ""owner"" - Karen is rude, condescending and customer service is a completely foreign concept. She was defensive, insulting and did not listen at all when we explained that we were not pleased with an arrangement. Karen's attitude was unprofessional. We learned a valuable lesson. Strongly suggest that you do your due diligence and research florists on-line for reviews. Check out other area florists, rather than run the risk of an bad experience like we did. The experience our family had was so dreadful and upsetting that I will share this story with friends, family & neighbors. Stay away from Summit Hills Florist. more

The owner Karen is one of the most rude people I have ever dealt with. We used them for multiple flowers at my grandfathers funeral. I called back 2 days later to say one of the arrangements was not what we wanted. Karen instantly got defensive and was so insensitive and inappropriate that I would never use them or recommend them to anyone. Worst experience I ever had....plus the prices are ridiculous.
