They came to me after the hail storm in Firestone Park and assured me that they were a local company. I contracted with them to do the job and we discussed what would be done at great length. They now claim they never agreed to what they did agree to and have not finished the job. I have discovered that my siding was installed incorrectly - it is attached tightly with no give so it will warp. We'll see if they correct it. I have also discovered that the company I am dealing with isn't even a local company. Summit County Roofing has sold their name to an out of state company and that is who I have been dealing with. I am outraged and feel this is an unfair business practice. Summit County Roofing should be ashamed of themselves for deceiving the residents of Summit County in this manner. Whether or not I end up with a siding job that is acceptable or if I have to find the money to have my whole house re-sided remains to be seen. You can bet I won't be calling them to do it if more

The Summit County Roofing Co contractor told us if we wanted our house and garage done it was going to cost us $3000.00 out of pocket in addition to the large insurance check. A week later the contractor showed up to my house telling me the insurance adjuster was going to allow more money and wanted me to sign a new contract so I did. Bottom line, I feel I am being taken advantage of. They have $25,000.00 to do the job and they still want out of pocket money. more
