Very impressed with the caring, patient and professional staff. When we first got our new puppy, I had many "new mommy" questions. Both the front staff and Dr B were helpful, patient and reassuring in answering my numerous questions. Never feel rushed in or out of appointments. Roger also does a great job for grooming services! I had a very poor experience with this clinic. I took my 6 month old cat there for a routine spay on a Friday morning. I was told that she would be staying overnight. That afternoon I received a phone call that she was doing well and we could pick her up that day. That next morning she grew listless and lethargic. When I called to consult with the clinic they told me that the pain injection may have worn off and she was probably now experiencing pain and was tired from it. I was instructed to continue to give her the prescribed medication and call again with any concerns. Sunday evening came and she still hadn't improved. First thing Monday morning I called the vet and requested an emergency appointment as she was now barely able to stay awake. They told me they would try to fit me in. I came to the vet and sat in the lobby holding my near lifeless cat in my arms as customers came in for routine checkups. I asked when I would be seen and they said that I had to wait for the vet to have more

Veternarians are always hit or miss. Some will love a place and reccomend, and you will find later that you are not comfortable or your pet is not. Summit Animal Clinic has always been a hit for many that we know. Caring, helpful staff are always available for your unexpected pet health needs. They are not pushy, like some vets, and always make you feel that your own choice about your pets care is the right choice. You will also find competative prices for services, not over the top, and not so low you question the capability of the veterinarian. more
