The store is beautiful and the customer service has always been great! I'm always excited to see the new displays and merchandise. They have helped me and my family furnish our homes with beautiful quilts and paintings of Sonoma. We love this store and everything in it! We look forward to the drive to this gem of a store every other week! Thank you SummerVine for adding to the beauty of Sonoma! more

Terrific selection of gifts and home decor 10/4/2006

A terrific shop that's displayed wonderfully with a large selection of items catering to very eclectic tastes ranging from whimsical to luxuriant. The buyers have excellent taste for very high quality merchandise that you'd really rather keep for yourself than give as a gift. Although the items they carry tend to be higher quality and therefore more expensive, they are comparably priced to other stores carrying the same types of items. There were a lot of unique items that I have not seen elsewhere. The customer service was friendly and available when I needed to ask a question but the saleswomen didn't hover as I took my time trying to look at everything they have in the store....and they have plenty to look at! Parking was a bit of a challenge at noon on the city square but the store was well worth circling the block a couple of times before a space opened up. Beautiful items, bad for out-of-towners. 8/10/2006

I was in Sonoma on vacation and found Summer Vine on the plaza and purchased a few rather expensive gifts for a friend back home. The items in their store are highly desirable but be leary if you have to have anything shipped! We used to live in the Bay Area and try to get to wine country once a year since leaving (we are living in Austin, TX now) and hence have to have most things shipped. Pros: Beautiful pottery, great interior design accessories. Cons: Bad customer service; apethetic, snobbish. more

Enlightening and Rewarding Experience 5/20/2006

This extremely beautiful home accessories shop exhibited diversity and high quality of merchandise. Everything was creatively displayed, giving the customer inspiration for personal use or gift giving. The owners support their clientelle's interests, are cheerful & excellent buyers. Just Visiting 7/11/2004

Summer Vine offered an interesting stopping point along the square and while some merchandise was whimsical, most could be found anywhere. Displays were put together well but two of the sales women harassed my husband for writing in his travel journal while I looked around. For a location frequented by travleres, you would think they might be a bit more aware. Pros: near great food, visually pleasant, whimsical more
