Cake & Candy side leaves something to be desired! 1/7/2010

They always seem to be out of something I need. I have gone in to buy cake boards and boxes where the boards were bigger than the boxes and I have had to cut them down to fit or they have the boxes and no boards. They need a better system to their ordering. On another note, Emma's cake and candy supply in Finelyville always has a large assortment of everything I need so when I need supplies...that's where I go and they are cheaper! Pros: Ice Cream Parlour very nice Cons: Cake and Candy side...thumbs down! more

A Five-Star Review! 6/9/2005

When I lived in Pennsylvania, I frequented Sugar & Spice as often as I could. The homemade ice cream could not be beat and I loved the relaxed ambience. I actually felt like family. As an added bonus, I could also easily pick up something on the retail side with their cake and candy supplies. Since moving out-of-state, I have come to the conclusion that there is no comparison with the quality of other ice cream shops. Fantastic homemade ice cream 6/3/2005

Best in the south hills. Original soda fountain from Joe's place in Mt. Oliver. Huge selection. The ice cream is made right there in the store, everything I have tried is fantastic. They just started making waffle bowls there that really tops it off. Pros: Inexpensive, Family oriented, Can sit outside Cons: Limited parking more
