Defiance is a fun trip in it's own right, but when you add a good winery to the trip, it is really fun. Sugar Creek Wines are reasonable and very good. Well worth the trip - especially from St. Louis. more

Great wine 11/27/2005

Another one of my favorite wineries in the area. This place has made a name for itself among the local wineries for its quality. I have friends who asks for Sugar Creek wine by name so I often keep a couple of bottles in my stock. They have a little picnic area where you can enjoy your purchase and the surroundings. more
