Bad: Sue has a "one size fits all" approach to swim lessons. Regardless of the child's age, temperment, or experience, all children are treated to the same "instant submersion" technique. While this does produce children that can swim, it is often at the cost of a positive experience for the child. Most express distress and fear, even weeks into the program. Out of numerous swim programs that I have purchased for my other children, this was the only bad experience with a school that I have ever had.. Improvements: An ability to communicate with the parents about their child's progress, a less mechanistic approach to working with the children. Adding a dimension of compassion to the process.. Other: This is truly a "swim boot camp" for toddlers. It is really designed for optimal efficiency and profitability for the benefit of the school - not the children..
