Suddenly Samantha

I have been going to Suddenly Samantha since it first opened years ago. I go to Steve, and he's absolutely AWESOME! I've had my hair super-short, super long (we're talking all the way to my butt!), and everywhere in between, and never have I once walked out of there with less than drop-dead gorgeous hair. Also, he cuts my hair in a way that weeks after the cut, my hair is so manageable. Even in high school I've gotten all of my updo's done by him or one of his staff members. Absolutely gorgeous.\r \r He rocks, the rest of the staff is amazing, and the atmosphere there is so energizing. I'm sad when I have to leave, but I walk out feeling like a million bucks. more

I had read previous reviews about this place and especially about their massage therapist.\r So, I finally scheduled an appointment with her, and the review was dead on accurate.\r She is amazing!!! She was extremely skilled and her energy was just out of this world.\r \r I was excited to see the new location, but when I called to schedule my massage with Rebecca, I was told she was no longer there. Too bad she left, she was the only reason why I would even come back.\r \r They tried to schedule me with their new therapist but I found out that she was just out of school and really does not have the experience. \r \r Rebecca where did you go? more

i just moved here from the village (NY)city and i have been looking for a massage therapist for some time now. I was downtown easton,shopping, visiting with a friend, (really cute shops tucked away in that town!)when i peeked into the window of a space that made me feel like i was back in a SOHO salon.great look- but the vibe was way-better than ny.!! I inquired about a massage to find myself talking to the massage therapist herself! long story short, i had an amazing experience i felt as if i drank 3glasses of wine, (me staggering up the staircase with creases on my face to friendly smiling faces was nice.I mustve been a funny site) her skills are beyond most ive had i think she has a healing gift as well.. i ended up making ahair appointment on the way out... ill get back to you on that later. more

Oh my god... what a great place. When i went in it was like everything i want in a salon- fun atmosphere no snobby receptionist!!! the hair cut was so much fun. he gave me a head massage when he washed my hair, i thought i was going to fall asleep i was so relaxed. i felt comfortable because they actually have people that i can relate to working there. when i decided that i wanted my hair touched up - not because it wasn't great- i just cant style it- they had no problem! I'm so excited to go back and i've been telling everyone i know about this AWESOME place!! The guy that cut my hair rocks and i cant wait to go again!!! I have been to Suddenly Samantha the past few times and ALWAYS see Sara. She recently lightened (bleached ) my hair for the warmer season and I have NEVER had soooo many compliments on my hair in a very long time!!! I highly recommend anyone to go there. From the moment you walk in the door you feel so comfortable and relaxed no matter who you are. Every stylist has a style ALL of their own which does not seem common until you walk in their doors. So make an appointment with any one there and you will never go any where else. Pros: A relaxed yet city-like atmosphere Cons: not much to say on con list more

I am a new client of Suddenly Samantha,\r \r I have never felt so welcome and cheerful and relaxed at a soln before.\r I walk in the door to all smiles, they took care of me right away.\r The shampoo I received was just plane amazing.\r I got the color and cut that I wanted because they listened to what I wanted and even taught me how to take care of it at home.\r It has now been 3 weeks almost time to go back and I still look great thanks to them.\r Sitting in the chair was like being at a concert watching a musical...everyone is so animated and creative...lol 1 stylist was doing extentions and dancing her client was happy and she loved her hair.....Another stylist was cutting this guys hair who transformed in front of my eyes......all I can say is WOW! Every stylist in that salon will wow you....\r And they keep adding on. I saw they do Facials and another WOW......\r \r By the way MAN DID YOU ALL SEE THE FRONT WINDOW....That is why I walked in and they took me on the spot.....ok that is enough.\r \r The only thing I really need to say is ......GO! wow! This salon makes me look and feel great! The staff you may question but once you go in and meet them they are all so very welcoming! They do almost everything..wash,color,cut,braids,nails,massages,even off regular specials and snacks,drinks I mean it doesnt get any better then this! Check it out you wont be disappointed.....(did I over do it?) No it is all true Pros: not enough space more

This place is so good I still go there for a cut when I'm home visiting from Boston! Quality and price can't be beat. Ask for Niki- she's the best. more
