Subway's slogan ""Eat Fresh"" is changed in Dennis to ""Eat Stale and eat filth"" because the restaurant is filthy and the bread is as hard as a pond in January. I went in at six p.m. on a weeknight. There were no customers in the store and I thought it was closed because the food bins were mostly empty, food scraps were littered all around and the two workers were standing around chatting. I asked for a meatball sub with provolone. ""We don't have any"", replied the server. The other worker agreed. Finally the manager came in from taking a smoke break and said she was pretty sure they had some provolone. She found some and made a sandwich using STALE BREAD. The place is horrible. BTW, they have moved from route 134 to Route 28-----the new place is just as dirty and the food is just as stale ! ! ! ! !
