My room was clean which is something I look for in a hotel of this caliber. I have stayed at the Suburban Inn in a couple of other cities and this one I can say I really would recommend. more

We booked a room over the internet, reserved it with our credit card. We checked in and found out that the room we booked was not availible, smoking/ queen bed. The desk clerks information said that we didn't book a smoking room. We showed him the confirmation email that clearly states 1 Queen Smoking Room. We were told that we could get a refund and go somewhere else, but there was nothing else they would do. We decided to stay and checked with the manager the next morning and were told they would not offer any refund. We left the room at 9am and returned at 4pm and had a message from house keeping that they found candles in our room and would be charged an additional $50.00. The candles were in a closed bag and unburned, so? We will never stay here again and will not recommend this hotel. Cons: Nosey Housekeeping, Internet Reservations, Unsealed Door more
