I brought my Stihl chainsaw in for repair on 02/15/12. I explained to the employee behind the counter (Grey Petruccelli) what the problem was and that I wanted only that problem fixed, nothing else. I also requested that if the repair was going to exceed $100.00 that I would like to know prior to repair. On 02/27/12 I recieved a phone call saying my saw was ready for pick up. On 02/28/12 I went to get my saw,the repair bill was $142.00! I was suppose to get a phone call if over $100.00- I did not, also, parts that were not needed for repair were replaced. Ryan Lockard knocked off 10 from my bill.Thank you Ryan.
I have had past bad experience's with local repair shops, which is why I brought my saw to Suburban Lawn Equipment. I expected better.
