I just got the best cut and color of my life on my first visit to Studio Todd G. I can't say enough great things about this salon. Super friendly staff and owner, complimentary drinks and snacks, relaxing and inviting atmosphere. There was a good mix of both male and female clientele, which tells me the stylists are skilled and diverse in their talents.\r \r My stylist, Ernest, was a seasoned colorist and stylist. He is confident and has excellent technique. He really spent a lot of time talking to me about what I wanted and offering his own suggestions as well. He is knowledgeable and kind, and I felt like I was in good hands from the start. It's amazing what a great cut and color can do for you. I have always had a super hard time finding a stylist that I like enough to remember their name after I've left my appointment. For years, I was a Great Clips girl mostly due to frustration with not finding someone who gets what I want & delivers. But!, my prayers were answered when I stumbled upon Kelly at Studio Todd G! She listened to what I wanted ( and studied the massive catalog of pictures I brought with me), gave me her suggestions & tweaked what I was envisioning to suit me & personalize my style. I'm really particular about the cut, but never really put much thought into color. She suggested some great options that worked out beautifully & gave me hints on ways to sustain my new do & hue until my next visit. And all without sending me into the poor house. On top of all of her championship styling, she has an all around great personality. She makes you feel comfortable & provides you with a buddy through the long hours it takes for us ladies to look pretty & that's hard to come by. I'd recommend her to anyone all day...and i have! I've sent a few of my female & male friends to her & all have been more than satisfied when they left. She's my best kept secret that I couldn't keep. \r \r Aside from Kelly's awesomeness, the salon is just as awesome. It's a cool, comfortable & unpretentious atmosphere with a great staff. The owner works just as hard as his staff & is super sweet & complimentary of his stylist, which I think is important. They're also located in an easily accessible area of town right on the corner of 10th & Monroe next to some of the finest restaurant & shopping establishments in town. I should preface this by saying I am one of those who loves getting my hair cut and colored, and frequently. I like edgy modern cuts and have found that Kelly Conarro is my perfect match as a stylist. She listens to what I want, makes her own suggestions, and I always leave feeling like a million bucks (while paying substantially less!). I get gobs of compliments on my hair, and I attribute it to Kelly and her shears.... She can somehow read her clients' ""hair mood"" and make them happy. The salon itself is also a nice refuge for a couple hours--It is modern and tastefully designed, and everyone is cordial. There is no rushing you out. Before I started going to Studio Todd G for cuts, color, and special effects I had never been to any one salon or stylist more than 5 times. I have been to my share of salons all around Atlanta, Boston, New York and some overseas. Nothing and no one really compares. It's now been 3.5 years and my beautifful, red curls are my favorite thing in the world. I am happy every time I look in the mirror at my hair. You should probably go get happy too. This place is amazing. Tiffani cut and styled my hair and I couldn't be happier! I donated 11 inches to locks of love, which was a great experience as well. I was very nervous to cut all that hair off and nervous about what my hair would look like afterwards - but I LOVED it. I love going to get my hair done at Studio Todd G. It's totally attitude free! But beyond everyone being so nice and professional, they do an incredible job. The minute I walk out their door I get compliments. What a gem!! more

I have been to many salons both in Atlanta and other cities and I can say without hesitation that this is the best. The atmosphere is exactly what you want when visiting a salon: innovative and relaxed. The service is great: you will be treated like a friend (and offered a snack and a drink!). The stylists are incredibly knowledgeable: if you want to stick with your current look, they will give you ideas to freshen it up, and if you want something new, they brainstorm to come up with something that will suit you well. \r \r The salon also doubles as an art gallery, so there is always new talent to see. I really love this place, and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. I drive an hour now see Todd, and it's a highlight of my month. \r \r Simply put, this salon is original, classy, and refined. I went in for a haircut not too long ago and received the best service and haircut I have ever had! Everyone is soo nice and friendly. The salon has a creative environment highlighted by the expertise and creativity of the stylists! wow! what a great find this salon was...called while in atlanta for a few days and easily got in with tania and tiffany for some highlights and a haircut...this place is cool with great visual art and a warm, relaxing atmosphere...unlike the drama of most salons, this place was filled with the nicest staff i have met in a long time going to salons around the city...definitely a ""best-kept-secret"" salon for those high-profile people who want to keep it low-profile... more
