Studio Movie Grill Holcomb Bridge

I found this movie theater through a GroupOn and recently went to see a movie with my boyfriend. The environment is great and very contemporary. The sound and picture quality were perfect. Being obsessed with movies as I am I really enjoyed the experience. The food is a little bland but you can always revert to the normal movie theater food like popcorn and drink if you need to. Overall, it's a great place and I will be back. more

I have had several meals there and the food is very good. The drinks are never flat, You can buzz for service at your seat so you only have to miss movie for a personal run. The chairs are office unsecured rolling chairs which provide good comfort and back support but not as comfortable as a lounging movie theater. One row has a bar tabletop the back row has serving stool. The stool seating has 4ft of legroom which is very nice to stretch out one and a while. The surrounding eating noises are not noticeable and the servers are good to duck from interfering with screen view when they come (you buzz). We have not gone during a sold out show but for 1 week old hit release the food service was quick and acceptable. Food prices at the grill are NOT the typical movie theater 10x normal pricing. PRICES ARE GOOD for the FOOD! It is a cool concept, I have not seen any others copying it, food is good. If you need a good meal during a movie time this is it. Not a date and dinner place, but for adults and with kids this is worth the visit. more

The food was mediocre, the wait was long, but, the experience is fun. We took our kids and arrived 30 minutes before the show started, and it was sold out. We bought tickets for the next show, and arrived about 45 minutes ahead of time. You have to stand in designated lines and wait to be seated. They started forming lines about 30 minutes ahead of time, and my poor kids were about to go nuts! It's just so long to wait with small kids. When I got my food, it was not even lukewarm. It was stone cold. I sent it back and 30 seconds later, out came a lukewarm burger with the waitress claiming they made me a new one. More likely, they nuked the one I sent back. That said, I don't expect fantastic food at a movie theater. But, warm would be nice. It wasn't a terrible time, but I won't be rushing back. I'd rather go to a local burger place and eat dinner then head to the real theater with bigger screens and less wait! more
