I've been planning to post a review about this hair salon but never got a chance. But here I am sharing my experience with you. I found this hair salon from this site and it got good ratings. I just moved to Long Beach and I had to look for a new place to get my hair done. As soon as I got there I was welcomed by the friendly receptionist and staff. Right away I was asked if I needed some refreshments. I felt at home right away. Relaxed. I didn't wait long for my turn. Annie was my hairstylist and she was very patient with me as I wasn't decided what to do with my hair. She did a scalp massage and that felt so good. Wow! the minty feeling on my scalp was so great. She took her time to cut my hair and styled it too. I didn't feel rushed at all. Worth the money and worth my trip. Now I really need to come back 'cuz it's been more than 3 months. I've been trying to find a salon and stylist for a while now and had called and tried a few different places. Then I found Studio K on City Search. I read the reviews and decided to give them a call. From the phone call to getting my hair done I was truly happy. The staff was helpful, friendly and experienced. The salon has a relaxed, cozy feel. Jackie was my stylist and her style put at ease and when the cut and color was done! I was one happy camper! I have began to spread the news about this great find of a salon. Three weeks before my scheduled surgery i was feeling so scared and nervous and I wanted to feel better about myself, and my surgery. A wonderful friend named Tanya reffered me to this salon. I met the Owner Kristian and soon enough with my new look and my spirits hightened she made me feel like a million bucks. I love the positive energy, and great staff that made that salon stand out from the rest. I also discovered a wonderful product called MISS JESSIE'S CURLY PUDDING a curly hair product line. I just had my hair cut by Annie and loved it!! She is so fun to hang out with and gave me a lesson on how to use my blowdryer. I totally recommend this salon. It is relaxing with a downtown loft feel. Oh and parking was a breeze. Pros: funky atmosphere, good stylists, lots of parking more
