Ever gone to a hair salon and come out with the hair cut the stylist wanted instead of what you did? That was me for for the past 10 years! I never ever was happy about my hair no matter where I went. I changed hair places they way you'd change your clothes. It was very frustrating! I could spend tons of money or not to get it done and it was always the same result when i got home... UGLY! Then a friend recommended I go to Studio Expo. I dragged myself in there and sat in the chair expecting the same results I always seem to get when having my hair done. Jamie finished and I looked at my hair. I wanted to cry.... for the first time in 10 years I LOVED MY HAIR!!!!! it was a new look that COMPLETLY was me. HOW DID SHE DO IT??? I was so happy when I got home, I showed my husband and he loved it too! I wouldn't go anywhere else. Now my kids get their hair done there too! The place offers so many services like tanning, facials and nails! It's a beautifully kept salon and spa! It's My home aways from home! I just love it! more

I completely disagree with the last reveiw of this spa. I have been a client to them for over 6 years and have always been satisfied each and every time i stepped foot into that salon. The atmosphere is always hospitable and professional. I have never had a complaint and all of the stylists and nail techs are very well educated and skilled.So in short I don't think anyone wants fuddy duddy people who can't keep up with hustle and bustle of a busy salon complaining about how things didn't revolve around them sounds like the type of woman who is never happy and maybe should try to go to nail school yourself to see if you could do a better job. But, for everyone else who likes a well maintained spa that's always fun to be at Scissor Magic is the place for you! more

I was there over the weekend getting my nails done for a wedding I was in. There were 6 of us there, and all of our nails came out horrible. For me and others, there was nail polish all over my skin. For some others, they had cuts and tears in their cuticles from getting them trimmed. There was only 1 person who could do a french, and she screwed up both of them. I'm not quite sure where these ladies went to school, but they should get their money back. The maid of honor had here nails done by the owner, who wasn't a manicurist - and it came out terribly. Lastly, there were no nail dryers, so most of us ending up smudging our polish. I would never go back there again, and the other 5 girls feel the same. more
