Cassie Dean is a true professional stylist. My first appointment with her was amazing?several steps above any I have ever experienced?starting with an abundant amount of time and attention given to just talking with her about my hair while she examined its cut, texture and health in depth before beginning any scissor work. Her Image Studio 101 is the first suite on the right?a bright space with clean lines, a stunning mirror, and lots of natural light?completely encased in glass, giving her clients the privacy expected in a salon of this magnitude. Cassie used products of exceptional quality, carefully explaining in detail how each of them would achieve the desired results. In the end, my hair felt amazing, and the darling cut could not have pleased me more! I now have an updated look?exactly what I was hoping for! It was as if each strand of my hair had been customized just to please me! more

Cassie is exceptional 3/21/2012

I had the pleasure of meeting Cassie during The Sundance Film Festival. She was styling hair at a venue and I was doing makeup. She was so personable and kind from the moment she said hello. I could tell that she has true passion for hair and her craft right away. I am lucky enough to do trade for hair cuts and whatnot because of my profession, but I would pass up trade any day to pay Cassie to do my hair again. She taught me how to do my hair curly the best way possible. I am 30 years old and this is the first time I've learned these tricks in 15 years at the salon. Lastly, her space is gorgeous. It's intament and you feel extremely pampered when you're there. It's an absolute wonderful experience overall and I would recommend Cassie to anyone! Go see her! She's such a babe!! more

Can't Go Wrong with Cassie! 3/21/2012

I finally found Cassie the last year that I lived in Salt Lake City and now that I've moved away, travel back every few months to have her cut and highlight my hair. My hair is thick, fine and fragile, but Cassie's cuts look good for months and months. Her skill, ability to listen and implement what you want, professionalism and consistency make her a great stylist. more

The only review I will ever write on the internet 3/19/2012

Even though I am writing this review to get a free shampoo: every word is true. I have always dreamed I would find a stylist like Cassie. But for 33 years my dreams have just been dreams. Until last year: I met this cute young lady. NOW NO ONE WILL EVER TOUCH MY HAIR AGAIN BUT HER. Is that blunt enough? No more fried ends, bad color, and impossible styling tricks. My hair is the dream now and I owe it to Cassie. In short: make an appointment with her if beauty is what you want. more

What a great experience!!! 3/19/2012

It's always tough to find a great stylist and when you do find one, don't let him or her go. Cassie is one of those stylists. Her professionalism and attentiveness are unmatched and her aim is only to please. It's especially hard being a guy to find someone that not only knows how to cut your hair but also has the knowledge and expertise to take your style to another level. I'm always excited when I have to get a haircut and even more pleased when I walk out. Her new location just adds to the wonderful experience of going to see her... It's small and intimate but with all the amenities to make your experience enjoyable and very personal. I wouldn't trade my stylist for anything in the world. If your unhappy with yours or just looking for a change look no further cause you just found her. The best in SLC!!! more

Salt Lake City 5 star Hairstylist 3/19/2012

I have been a long time client of Cassie's and recently visited her new location. Cassie is the best hair dresser I have ever had. She not only listens to what you want but puts her own touch on your idea. The end result is amazing and more than you could have hoped for. You leave the salon and feel like a whole new beautiful person. I would recommend Cassie to anyone a 100 times over for a stylist.... She deserves more than 5 stars!!! more

Peggy is the best!!! 3/19/2012

I've been going to Peggy for about 4 years -- she's the best!!! My hair always (always!) looks fabulous and I get compliments all the time, even from strangers! Peggy is incredibly knowledgeable about technique, style, color, trends, everything. She will take the time to listen to you and make sure you are happy before you leave. I have never, ever left unhappy with my cut. Great customer service-- even on busy days, I never feel rushed or ignored. The salon itself is very personal, relaxed and comfortable. I?ve referred two friends and they are very happy with their hair, too. Bonus: Peggy has such a fun personality and wonderful laugh, I love going to see her! more

Hands down, second to none . . . 3/14/2012

Cassie can do it all. Extensions, multi-deminsional color, melting, and even finish it off with a smart cut, a current style and a great conversation. I have been her client for 4 years and she never ceases to amaze me by catering and even enhancing my desired look. She is above the bar on her current techinque . . .keeping up with trends all the while having the range of giving a classic look when desired. I always leave her chair knowing how to care for my color and looking absolutely fabulous. I give her a solid 10 STARS . . .not a popularity contest-- she is THAT good and good for any 20, 30, 40, and 50 year old. She has timeless range. I find it incredibly rare and special that I have found a hair stylist that is able to produce or reproduce exactly what I envision in an enhanced way. An excellent stylist. more

Go see Peggy!! 3/14/2012

My sister and I see Peggy for cuts and color, and we both love her. Over the years, we have run the gamut from short to long, straight to curly, brown to blonde to red. She is truly a master-- professional, thoughtful, thorough, and creative. She listens to what I want and then always manages to make me look way better than what I thought was possible -- with explanations on how to reproduce it all at home! Her cuts are always hips and flattering, and she is AMAZING with color. AMAZING. She is also just really cool and fun to talk to. 5 Stars! Without a doubt! more

Cassie always takes her time with my cut and style, and I always leave with an awesome do! There are few stylists who truly understand how to manage curly hair, but she's got it down. Studio 101 @Image Studios is a cool and classy space, and really convenient. I highly recommend making an appointment. more

Studio 101 has been a wonderful experience for me! I absolutely adore Cassie, she has been coloring and cutting my hair for years. I'll follow her anywhere. She is professional, conscientious, and a pleasure to see each time. But most important she is creative and keeps me coming back for more. James and Peggy are also great! Once when Cassie was out of town I went somewhere else for a ""trim"" before my vacation, but came out ""chopped"". I called the salon and got a hold of Peggy, she told me to come right in and she helped me out of a bind. They are all wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this salon. more

Cassie has been my stylist for many years now and she?s wonderful! I was a rather timid client, with long straight hair that didn?t know exactly what I wanted, but knew I wanted something different and fun. Cassie listens and does an amazing job! I always get compliments on my hair and can?t imagine ever going to another stylist. I highly recommend her! more

They know their stuff because they've all had extensive, extensive education and they just know what works for someone because they feel it naturally. They're fun and extremely professional. Wonderful Experience all around 3/12/2012

Peggy is so talented. She has the ability to asses your hair and help you decide what is the best look for you. What is the best about Peggy's cuts and colors is that you look great leaving, but look better every day there after. It is a pleasure to spend the time with Peggy while she does your hair- she is kind, intelligent, insightful, and genuine. Leaving looking fabulous is just a perk of being able to spend time with this lovely human being. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment, you won't regret it. Peggy did my hair this afternoon, and I have been radiating since I left her. You sometimes forget that when you look good, you feel good. Peggy truly has a gift at making you look and feel your best. more

I will never let anyone touch my hair but Peggy! She's the best colorist ever. Every single time I go I end up loving what she has done. Peggy is amazing! 3/12/2012

Peggy was my hairstylist while I was living in Utah. She was always amazing. I didn't always know what I wanted when I went for my appointments. She and I would talk for awhile and I never left disappointed. Every cut and color I got from her was stylish and I always received compliments. In addition to giving stylish cuts, she is a master with color. A friend of mine had a disastrous color at another salon and Peggy was able to help her fix it without destroying her hair in the process. I highly recommend Peggy at Studio 101! more
