Strictly Toy-Ondas

I found Strictly Toy-Ondas about a year ago when I was having a problem with work done by another shop who has since gone out of business. They were so nice and even brought me in the shop to show me what the problem was and fixed it for $50!! I paid the other shop over $300 and had the same problem when I left. I LOVE the ladies up front... they know so much about cars and they are great about explaining it in a way that I understand... makes me wish I would have taken auto shop in school!\r \r To the poster below... I am not sure where you got the information about not being certified. The whole wall in the shop is covered in certifications... You should check in with them again... I highly recommend this shop. As a woman, it is hard to find a shop you can trust and they are it! more

Strictly Toy-Ondas is a rip off. There mechanic is completly incompetent and sloppy. After bringing in my car for one problem they charged a fortune and ended up braking something else. When I tried to approach John about the problem he avoided me and would not even return my calls. He did however have his wife get on the phone to tell to go to the bbb because they were refusing to look into the problem at all. This shop does not care about the customer or the service they give. Don't go into them. They will rip you off. more

The only problem about Stricly Toy-Ondas is that not all of their Technicians are certified ASE Techs. If I'm going to be paying someone to work on my car, I want the best. more

I've been bringing my cars to John Martin since we arrived in Auburn 17 years ago. \r First, they are very friendly and helpful.\r Second they do a great job on my cars. I have been dealing with the Martin family for almost 40 years. I first purchased an International pick up from Jim Martin in the early 1970's and then had him do most of my auto maintenance work until he retired. I now have his son, John Martin's Strictly Toy-ondas service and maintain our '05 Lexus. I have received prompt and friendly service, excellent advice, and fair prices. I encourage you to give this family owned and operated business a try. more

I've been coming to Strictly Toy-ondas for about 5 years\r for my Tacoma and have been served with quality\r work, parts and service. They truly go the extra mile in\r doing these things. I have 3 Honda's and a Toyota that I have taken to Strictly\r Toy-Ondas for several years now. I had lost faith in both the\r local Honda and local Toyota dealers after both were dishonest in their service departments. S-T has always given me a straight explanation on what was wrong and what the options were - and done the work at a reasonable price (they have frequent coupons in the local papers). Service Advisor Tonya has also been helpful in alerting me to items that would be covered at no charge by Honda. \r I would recommend that anyone who has a Honda or Toyota vehicle check with S-T first, before going anywhere else. S-T's everyday price (without a coupon)\r usually beats the dealer special price deals. This business is owned by the Martin family, and they run it like you would expect a good family business to be run. more

We moved to Auburn about 15 months ago. I inadvertently learned about Toy-Ondas last Spring from one of their customers and have been very happy with the service I've received from them since then. We have an Acura MDX and a Honda Civic. It's nice to know our vehicles will be properly serviced at a reasonable price. I strongly recommend this business. more

We have been taking our 2002 Honda CRV and 1991 Acura to S.T. for a couple years now. They are good to work with. Although we have had a couple bumps along the way, it's nothing they really were to blame for. There was a problem with one of our vehicles that was difficult to diagnose and it took a couple trys to get it done but eventually they came through. Recently there was an issue that, again, they made right and we are keeping our business with them for no other reason than they took care of us and did a lot of the legwork above and beyond what I would have expected of another repair shop. more

I've been with Strictly Toy-Ondas since coming to Auburn in 1992, they have serviced several vehicles for me now. I have always found their service friendly, fast, and they talk to me about options, the expensive versus the practical. They have saved me money. I train and deploy Search and Rescue Dogs; training and searches involve hard use and long distances. My job as a Trauma Nurse involves a moderate commute. I depend on my vehicle to make everything possible. Strictly Toy-Ondas will take me home to my house in Auburn after I drop off my vehicle, will call me when it's ready, even come to pick me up. They send me reminders in the mail about required maintenance, like they know my Owner's Manual for me! \r This last week I had one of those "Check Engine" lights, took it in expecting something expensive ... Strictly Toy-Ondas told me it was something they expected to deal with at my next scheduled maintenance, not to worry, checked a bunch of other stuff and it cost me ~$50 and d more

Strictly Toy-ondas has been performing all of the service and maintenance on my cars for 16 years. They have been outstanding in providing friendly & honest service. They use factory parts on all my vehicles, and maintain a lower price. I have always been able to see with my own eyes any problems with my vehicle because they will take me out in the shop and show it to me! This shop is the best around in my opinion. more

My guess is the other poster was only getting oil changes here cause based on my experience it's doubtful this place can handle anything more than that. \r \r I'd select the rating I feel they deserve but you don't provide negative stars.... more

Strictly Toy-ondas is a great place to get you car repaired. They are always friendly and get the job done quickly. Most of the time they are cheaper than the dealership. I have found them to be more expensive if you need a diagnostic. I say just call both and check. Other wise a great place to get a repair. PROS: Friendly, fast service CONS: some services are more expensive than Honda dealership more
