I purchased a rawhide, varnished lampshade from Strictly Southwestern. It was extremely expensive, but I was told that it would never crack, and if there were any defects, it is covered by a lifetime replacement warranty. Well, it cracked along the entire length of the lacing, and when I called the store manager to request a replacement, she told me they no longer stock the product. Whether or not they still stock the product, what is a lifetime warranty supposed to mean, then? She also mentioned that she still had two of the lampshades in stock, but did not offer to trade one out. She said she would track down the wholesaler and call me back. After ten days she has still never called me back. I assume she expects that I will just roll over and play dead. Well, I won't, and this review is the result. Their ""lifetime warranty"" is a joke. Please patronize honest businesses instead of this one.
