I went to Stress Out for my very first bixini wax - a bare bikini! I was terribly nervous but came away feeling great! Briefly: The practitioner was very professional and experienced. She was quick and efficient but also very considerate. A bikini wax is painful, but she made the pain very bearable, taking care to never pull my skin or cause bruising. She's also very friendly, the easy camaraderie we developed in my short visit helped ease my nervousness and allowed me to defocus from the pain. The spa is very well maintained and the staff are very courteous and friendly. I've heard about their massages and am definitely going back soon. Hope this helps you all! ~Selena Kyle more

Best Little Wax House In Ithaca 9/5/2005

The best, easiest, most painless waxing I've ever had. The staff here is simply the best locally. They also offer massage and hair, but I haven't taken part yet. If the waxing specialists are any indication of the business as whole, then you can be assured they will be professional and thourough. I was very pleased with my service. Pros: waxing more

Moment of Zen 3/24/2005

Waxing and plucking might never be enoyable, but they're as good as they get at Stress Out. Tam and Shelly are two of my favorites: always professional but very relaxed and outgoing. Their prices are also reasonable and the space itself is very relaxing. When you feel like pampering yourself, definitely indulge in a massage and facial. more
