I've been a customer since way back. Steve has been doing my hair for almost 20yrs. He has a great salon, pleasant to visit and have your personal service done. Very friendly as your greeted as you come in, asked if you'd like something to drink. Edgy salon with easy access and nice people! I always get asked who does my hair and I refer everyone to Strandz Salon. more

I was at Mu across the street for dinner one night and I noticed Strandz Salon,so I walked in the next day. My stylist gave me a scalp massage to die for... My consultation was extensive and my stylist made sure what I wanted before she started cutting . Lori also went into how to smooth my hair so it was easier to blowdry. She made me feel comfortable and confident. Pros: I love my stylist! Cons: not open on Sunday and Monday! more

Every single stylist in the salon is friendly and extremely talented! All of the stylists talk to you and ask you if you need anything, I always leave pleased with my hair! You have to try this salon! more

I found this place on accident and i'm so glad i did. I walked in one afternoon was greeted by many stylists and one of them was able to take me in right away! The salon is very well decorated and always has great music. I'm never moving salons again :) Pros: Fantastic and friendly Stylists!! more

You are greated at the door and made to feel ""special"". Steve always make sure that you are offered something to drink. The coffee is never ending. I have been to many salons and Strandz Salon is the TOPS. Steve can even make an older person feel and look young. Thanks. I highly recomend this Salon to everyone. The owner was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. The stylist Meghan that did a full weave of dark brown and platinum blondes on my hair pulled all the foils out at the same time and rinsed it. The brown ran into the platinum strands and made a muddy looking mess. When I told her it was too dark and needed WAY more blonde she agreed to put in more blonde. She then tried to charge me double! She said, ""Well, I had to do it twice."" She had to do it twice because she messed it up! I had to request a strengthening treatment since my hair had been double processed. She didn't care about my hair at all. I left dripping wet, without a trim. She told me she didn't want to dry it after all it had been through. I was so shocked and disappointed. I will never return and will tell everyone I know of my experience. That is the ONLY time in my life I have not tipped. And it was way too hot in there, very uncomfortable. I would give them zero stars but the program will not allow that. Cons: Rude owner, unskilled stylist, hot building. more
