I have a lot peircings and I have gone to many different shops but I must say that STTP has given me the best experiences ever. I have grown to know the owner and piercer a fairly well and I would highly recommend getting any peircings here. The prices can be a bit higher than another shops but the experience and perfection of the peircing is worth every cent. more

I have been wanting a piercing for many decades and on my trip to Tucson I decided to do so. The staff was kind, professional, attentive and very friendly! I went to Straight to the Point after researching the different piercing salons around town. I went to get a third lobe piercing and was a little nervous even though I've been pierced many times before. Tara was my piercer. She was very calming and she showed me a few different ways I could have my piercings done. The piercing table is comfortable and the atmosphere is really nice. I was in and out within 20 minutes and everything went smoothly. I almost wanted to stay and get something else pierced! The aftercare instructions were explained clearly and made easy to remember. I love my new piercings and Tara did an excellent job. more

Gentle, respectful and polite... I am not a teenager and have more than one piercing (ears, septum, and other parts). I like being pierced and an adult - and I don't like getting dissed when I go to a local piercer to get things adjusted, added to, fixed. Teenagers who are pierced grow up someday and some of us keep our jewelry for all to see :)\r \r STTP (I was a customer when they were still Halo) has always had very good-quality jewelry at reasonable prices, and VERY polite, knowledgeable and professional staff,even through their restructuring/rebranding, which is more than I can say for other piercing businesses in and around Tucson. \r \r You get what you pay for. My husband took me to get my nipples both re pierced at the end of January. Great atmosphere. David did my piercings. Very professional, didn't make me feel vulnerable at all. They are healing very nicely. They pierce with Tygon which is a flexible plastic. Very great experience. Will refer people to them again and again. more

I've been searching for a while now for somewhere to get pierced, after doing my research I finally decided to stop by. I could almost kick myself for not stopping in sooner. Very professional, nice, clean, and a very large selection of jewelry. I'm glad I stopped in and finally got my septum pierced. Alec was great, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I had SUCH a great time here! I didn't get pierced this go around, but I did walk out with a great pair of silver earrings. I'm a sucker for big hoops, but it's hard to find unique ones. Alec showed me what they had in stock that would fit, and even showed me a catalog with more exquisite choices. If you want to get yourself a body piercing in Tucson, do yourself a huge favor, and head straight to Straight to the Point. The previous reviewers have it all right. This place (which is exclusively for piercing, no tatoos) is immaculate. I've had 4 piercings there in the past 18 months, and their prep and clean up is impressive. I've had absolutely no reason to worry about the sterility of their equipment and procedures. Period. My piercings have all been of a ""private"" nature (you know what I mean), in a location that is VERY important to me. They give you absolute privacy at STTP. I've had the services of both Alec the owner and David, and both are exceptional. They explain everything to you in advance. They're not hurried; they insist that you ask any questions you have. For my most recent piercing (on my absolute ""tenderest"" part) Alec advised me to learn more about the piercing before going through with it. I reluctantly agreed; so when I did decide to go through with it, I was fully informed. At another shop, they would just do it, and if you found out later it wasn't what you expected, that would be your tough luck. Before you leave they make sure you know how to care for your new piercing, and if stretching or other modification is in your plans, you know exactly when that can be. These guys are friendly, relaxed. and exude competence. If you'd like your piercing (wherever on you that may be) to be done in a fastidiously clean environment by knowledgeable but low-key professional piercers, don't waste your time going anywhere else. This place is awesome! more

I know some of you think a tattoo shop is the way to go for a piercing, you may be right if all you care about is shop location and the cost.\r The crew at STTP is OCD sterile and clean, can you say the same about your last tattoo shop visit? \r They explain every detail to you and walk you through the entire experience. \r Great people at STTP, especially the one with the tattooed hand-yummy! more

Alex brings true customer service back at STTP!\r \r STTP is not only a beautiful place with a \r very artistic look and feel to the beautifully displayed cases of jewelry and piercing accessories but the owner Alex is enchanting. He wants to talk to you about piercings, he showed us his portfolio of work and it was impressive. He took the time to answer all of our questions. \r \r STTP brings piercing to a level of artistic beauty. When my daughter was 3, she asked for sparkly ears. We put her off by saying that she needed to be at least double digits to have ""sparkly ears"". On her 10th bday, she said, ""It's time"". \r \r After researching endlessly to find the safest place to have ears pierced, I ended up at Straight to the Point. I am so thankful I found this studio! \r \r Alec, the owner, put us at ease immediately. I felt completely secure that my daughter would be taken care of. The studio had a sterile clean environment (VERY important for the neurotic OCD mom) and calm atmosphere (important for the nervous 10 yr old). Alec was professional and very sweet to my little girl. She barely felt a thing! \r \r If you need to have your child's ears pierced, be safe and have it done here where they sterilize the equipment used. By using the needle, the earrings are placed in the ear evenly so she won't have wonky hoops like so many end up with. An added bonus is it was less traumatic and painful. \r \r I'm going in soon to have my ears re-done. I'm looking forward to having it done RIGHT this time! more

After deciding to get my nose pierced, I went looking for a studio to get the work done and am SO glad that I found Straight to the Point. Brian greeted us as soon as we walked in, showed me the jewelry that I could choose from, and began the process. This is an incredibly clean studio and they fit each piercing specifically to the wearer.\r \r The jewelry I picked out was soaked for 10 minutes prior to piercing, so my husband and I took that time to check out the other jewelry in the gorgeous, custom-made cases. They carry the largest collection of body jewelry, I believe, in Tucson. All gorgeous and reasonably priced. \r \r I was taken to the piercing room, and Brian walked me through the procedure and asked me if I had any questions; completely thorough. He marked my nose, made sure it was a good spot for me, and then began. He did a fantastic job of keeping me calm and focusing my breath with the needle going in the through. Once it was complete, I was given all the aftercare instructions and told to come back with any problems or to get the stud readjusted if need be.\r \r I highly, highly recommend Straight to the Point; pure professionalism, cleanliness and just an all-around great studio! I don't typically write reviews, but I was so impressed with my experience here that I feel I have to share! I'd had my nape pierced for about a year, when I lost it because of an impact injury. I waited about two months to redo it and simply couldn't wait another second...I went into Straight to the Point, and the piercer, Brian, examined the scar tissue and determined that it could be done at that time. He was very knowledgeable, and I didn't doubt for a second I was in good hands. He took his time, explained the process of piercing through scar tissue, and told me what to expect. The experience was positive from the second I walked in to the moment I walked out with my new adornment! As a side note, Straight to the Point is now using Tygon surface piercings, which are more flexible, modern, and from what I can tell, all around amazing. I loved my nape piercing before, but I'm even happier with it, today. In conclusion, I'd recommend these folks to anyone thinking about getting a piercing, in a heartbeat...thanks to everyone at STTP!! more

Very positive experience for me. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and had great recommendations for my cartilage piercing. My piercer (George) was visiting from Portland from another location, and was great. I was nervous going into it, but he was so professional and nice that I soon relaxed. He even started talking to my friend that was with me who was having issues with her nose piercing and adjusted and fixed it for her for free! I highly recommend this place. They also have a huge selection of jewelry, primarily for gauges that are on the larger side. more
