Totally incompetent and dangerous. We bought a house in which they had installed a fireplace. The house would fill with smoke every time there was a moderate wind.\r Stoves'n Such refused to look at it. They were surly and rude, claiming we did not know how to make a fire.\r We had a chimney camera look at it and found that the inner liner of the flue had buckled because they had not supported 45 feet of of vertical flue pipe. I replaced the failed elbow and installed a support. The fireplace now works well. In the process I also found that they had not installed P traps on the cooling air inlets as directed by the fireplace manufacturer.\r I believe Stoves'n Such is now out of business, otherwise I would be taking legal action against them. more

Great people here. They treated us like family and did an excelent job on the install. They've been a trusted local business for three or four decades, so I have a hard time believing this other review.... Lived in Millcreek all my life, I know personally that they do great work and I've never heard a bad thing about them. more

They quoted $250 for a fireplace cleaning, they told us our fireplace was unsafe $5000 later they repaired and replaced the so called problem. Not even thirty days later the first time we used their product our home caught fire do their service and installation. Stove and such said it was there fault and they would make it right, there insurance said they would not pay so to call our own agent. But stove and such already took the unit out of the house so we have no proof. They are a horrible company and have left us with a mess to clean up and a hole in our wall., they do not stand behind their work. The next day after the fire they did complain, since they had to come to the house they were late picking up there kids from school. I am just glad my kids are alive and we have a home even though it is sooty. Thanks Stove and Such for sticking it to us your Erie PA neighbors. more
