For portable storage alone, they're pretty good. Scheduling delivery and pickup is easy. The people on the phone are very helpful.\r

For winter pickups, you'll have to shovel a clear path in front of the crates for the forklift.\r

The wrap around the pressed-board box is a good idea in theory. The box itself is easy enough to open and close, and the wrap AROUND the box is okay too--it closes with super heavy duty velcro.\r
\r
The problem I had is with the flap that comes down from the top of the box. When the crate is open for loading or unloading, the flap can be propped up with a firm velcro arm designed for the task. Unless you're 6' tall though, you'll need a step ladder to really position it correctly. Also, the flap gets in the way of opening and closing the door, must be held up while you close the wrap around, and THEN it can be released and secured.\r
\r
The biggest drawback is accessing to your things once the crates are at the warehouse. It costs less to rent a U-Haul to pick up items from the crates than it does to have them delivered again.\r
\r
Warehouse hours are Monday - Friday 8 or 8:30am ? 4 or 4:30pm and Saturdays from 8am - 11am. If you're going there on a Saturday, they will remind you on the phone and in person that you must be finishing up by 10:30 because they close at 11am sharp.\r
\r
They will leave your crates outside if you ask --then you can get to them whenever you want. But they're stored inside without the protective wrapping. I do not know if they'll re-wrap before placing the crates outside for you. \r
\r
The warehouse in Woburn, MA is VERY difficult to find, even with good directions. On the other hand, they do have bolt cutters in case you forget your padlock keys like I did.\r
\r
Bottom line: they're okay, but not great. If I'd known about the access issues up front, I'd have chosen a different company, or not gone with portable storage at all.
Pros: Portable storage--very convenient.
Cons: Warehouse hours and access.
