Stoneybrook Farm

I started out riding at another farm - If Only Farms. Every Wednesday while my mom was driving me up there, my stomach would start hurting. Not because I was scared of the horses, but becase I was scared of the teacher Stacey. I was relieved when one year when Stacey told my mom that there was no spot for me on Wednesdays at the time that I had always gone the previous years, but I adored the horses. My mom's friend's daughter recommended Stoneybrook Farms to me, and I've been riding there ever since - and with a totally different attitude. I now go twice a week (my own decision), and am moving up to the most advanced group soon. My stomach is not only fine, but I look forward to every lesson. Beth Bowen, the main riding teacher treats me like another child, and is not only an excellent riding teacher, but one of the nicest, and most intelligent, thoughtfull person I know. I definitely recommend it to everyone, no matter if you're an Olympic show jumper, or a little girl who's afraid of even getting on a horse. Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

In StoneyBrook Farm, You get the full Horse expierence, which my daughter never had. Beth has good horses of her own and good horses in boarding there. The horseback riding lessons are (fun) and she has a good time there. Then You go swimmimg and theres a slide. My daughter does not like swimming in ponds, but she enjoys it anyhow by hanging out with the dogs and floting on the raft. Then they have snack, and camp is over, but your child can stay after. The camps on Friday inclued crafts, not horseback riding, but you still go swimming, and have snack. My daughter had fun at this camp and connever wait 'till Monday to go again. more
