The Stonehouse Lounge is NOT closed. Never has been! Under new management now. We have a new menu, new specials, new staff, and the bar itself is newly painted with renovated bathrooms and more upgrades in the future! Happy hour everyday til 9pm and all types of entertainment, Come check out the new Stonehouse! more

Stone House Lounge 7/29/2011

We just dropped in for a sandwich and a few drinks. The lounge could use some TLC but the food and service were fantastic! One of the best burgers I ever enjoyed, with lump crab meat on it. The drinks were generous and extremely reasonably priced. Our server, the bartender was friendly, fast and courteous. While the lounge could use a little TLC; i.e. carpet, etc. the whole atmosphere was comfortable for a 20 something and 60 something. We will go back. more

Me and my girlfriends went to Stonehouse on a tip from a friend. We came up for the 25 cent shrimp, and it was delicious. Around 11 o' clock, we noticed a heavy-set white guy dressed like a thug come through the door, obviously hammered. To make matters worse, one of my girlfriends recognized him from a previous establishment and informed me he was the manager. After ten minutes of chatting us up and buying us drinks, he tried to convince my girlfriend to go in the bathroom with him to have sex! We will never go there again...unless they hire a new manager. more

When driving up I thought, ""OK, maybe it's eclectitic"". But really, the place is a dump. I would say it's a dive, but that might be attractive to some. I've eaten better food on airplanes. Why is this restaurant in the Top 10 for Norfolk? Apathy, perhaps? more

Simple House Burgers 12/17/2002

Just burgers. No special sauce or extra toppings. Just 3 kinds, Hamburger, cheeseburger, and bacon cheeseburger. Right offf the grill. and very inexpensive. Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Bar more

HUGE, hand pattied, juicy, extremely filling hamburgers. My favorite is the bacon chesseburger. U get you choice of Onion rings or french fries.. The onion rings are HUGE too!! At the Stone House, everything is always fresh. The steaks are awsome too.. Very inexpensive... Pros: inexpensive, great staff, comfortable atmospher more

I love the burgers at the Stone House. They are hand patted and very big. They also are very filling. U can get your choice of onion rings or french fries with your meal....all for a low cost!! If u havent tried the Stone House...U are missing out on great burger Pros: quality of food, Great service, Nice atmosphre more

If you haven't been in the Stonehouse then your missing out! Stop in for a bite to eat and a drink and Im positive that you'll be back for more! It's just a hop, skip and away from where ever your at in Hampton Roads. So go to the Stonehouse and enjoy yourself. more
