We visited Stonehill Winery during a trip to Hermann for the town's celebration of Oktoberfest. Of all the wine tasting I've ever done, I don't think I've ever been served so much for a tasting. After an interesting and informative tour ( for a nominal fee), we were led into a large room with a donut-shaped bar in the center. The group of 30-40 on the tour then proceeded to taste at least 15 samples from dry to sweet, including several ports and a sherry. My wife and I loved the Norton, which was available for a reasonable price in the gift shop. Overall, the tour, tasting, and wine store were well-worth the cost of the tour and drive to Hermann!
