Down right horrible! I'm a first time buyer of a house. Never really done anything with Heating or Air before. Just had the owner of the house take care of issues because we always rented the house. So I call Stiles heating and air. Thinking I see the billboards all the time and think they must be a pretty good company. Asked a few friends and they said the same thing. So they come out and look at our unit. The unit had not being working and we didn't know why. The guy checked it out and said the compressor was not working. It had gone out because of a power surge, we would need a new one. Told me we could get a nicer more efficient one, which would lower our monthly bills. Sounds great. Danny called me said it would be 2000.00 to just replace the compressor, well for that we should just get a new one. Ask for prices for a new one, Danny said Scott would call me. Never did! Then I called back and never got a return call from Danny either. Come to find out when we had someone else look at it (a friend who used to do Heating and Air before) Said the guy didn't even look at the whole unit. There was some papers (Warranty) set on top of these wires, (which could have caught fire) which blew out this one part and that was causing it not to work. The part is 440 ROUND CAPACITOR and only costs 20.00 dollars or so. During times like these be-careful about bad companies like this one. Why can't companies be trustful and do a fair job. We are a small business here in athens and we always go above and beyond. Why can't companies like Stiles Heating and Air do their job and be truthful. We might have gotten a new unit from them when we could afford it. The units we have our only the 10 seer and we might have thought about getting a more efficient unit to save money on our high power bills. But now we will never used Stiles Heating and Air even if they were the only company in Athens that does Heating and Air. I rather pay a higher service call bill then, trust anything they say. Get a second opinion! Don't Use Stiles, They are not to be trusted and a big rip-off!
Pros: Check out two units for the price of one
Cons: Not to be trusted, Bad Customer Service
