Best Sports Bar in El Segundo 6/21/2010

I love this place. If you are a sports fan and you're looking for a place to watch the game this is it. There's no bad seat in the bar area as there are TV's everywhere and the bar snacks are grub! I go specifically for the cobb salad and the hot fudge cake desert. The only drawback for me is it get's a little loud and you can't hear the announcers but still remains my favorite place to watch the Lakers. Pros: Good food, arcade area, space upstairs for private parties Cons: Can get very loud in the bar area. more

Not even close to a ""family sports bar"" 12/1/2008

The Stick & Stein sign describes itself as a ""family sports bar,"" so I brought our young children there on a Sunday for lunch. I was expecting something like a Denny's with a sports theme. The place was closer to a shady dive bar. The main eating/bar area was grungy, and the restrooms needed serious attention. There were about six or seven arcade games and an air hockey table in the back, but the air hockey table and two of the games were out of order. Also, the service was slow, and the food was only passable. Definitely not recommended for families. more

Monday Night Football Hot Dogs and Tacos (50 cents EACH) 9/22/2008

Hang-out for losers 9/28/2006

This place is about ex jocks and people from ""Gundo"" who sit around and act like they're something special.\r It's really El Segundo's version of ""Cheers"" complete with Norm's and a whole bunch of Cliff Claven's.\r It would be a humorous place if the people weren't so pathetic! \r get lives people, there is a life outside of El Segundo.\r Have to admit, the beer batter fries are very good and you get a pretty good view of a TV wherever you sit. Pros: Beer batter fries and a lot of TV's Cons: The people! Stuck in some kind of "Gundo" Vacuum.. more

Friendly Place 4/2/2006

Not only do they have a wonderful bartender they also have a waitress there who has been with them a long time, her name is Darlene, she is very friendly and will make you feel very confortable. Nice Neighborhood Bar 6/18/2004

This place is not about going out as it is about hanging out. No need for make-up in here ladies or ironed shirts fellas. The food is great. Dan the bartender is AWESOME. Very relax atmosphere. They have pool tables, video games and a jukebox. If you're a beer drinker, always go for the schooners. Better value. Pros: Locals Hangout, Great Food, AWESOME Bartender more
