We've been renting the same house from sterling for 10 years (funny because we thought it would be 1 year!!) and overall we are really happy with them. The rate they charge for our house is good and they haven't been greedy with rate increases... especially helpful when money has been tight. After hurricane Ike they did a great job getting everything back to normal again. We had water damage (yuck!) window damage and the fence was blown down. (Nothing compared to some people so we felt pretty blessed all in all). The storm was hardest on our kiddos so getting their rooms back quickly was important and they took care of that. They've always been good about repairs which has been really helpful lately because both our dishwasher and oven went out. The oven was an easy fix but the dishwasher was the real tragedy! :) I hate hand washing dishes! They replaced the dishwasher so all is good again. We're happy where we are and Sterling has done a good job taking care of things. Pros: Responsive about repair needs. Cons: Can't pay rent online and don't do direct bank withdrawals. more

I have to concur with the first review of this business (Sterling Real Estate) that I read on yahoo city search. The people that work there are rude and unprofessional, they have to be one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with in thirty-one years. My entire experience with these people was unpleasant at best. I cannot believe that this place still in business with the employees that they have working for them and how they conduct their affairs (with the clients that keep them in business). Honestly, I would not go out of my way to write this review if I did not feel that strongly about their poor quality. Do your homework and go somewhere else for anything relating to real estate be it buying, renting, etc. Trust me on this one or regret it later. Pros: None Cons: Too many to list... more
