My kids were at two other dance studios in O'Fallon before we found Steppin Up. What they learned in their first year at Steppin Up well surpassed everything they ever learned at the other studios. They have both advanced in their technical skills, and have gained confidence- Their self-esteem is so much better as well. The only bad thing about this studio for the moms is that my kids want to be there every night- we have a hard time prying them out of there. They love the place. The studio is one big family- it feels like we've known them all our lives. We are very happy here. The prices are very good, the classes are excellent, and the teachers are just wonderful- motivational, energetic, they pay personal attention to each and every child. Lastly, a bonus for the Moms, the owner is also a personal trainer and has been working with a lot of the moms to lose weight, so it is a good place for the whole family. Steppin Up Dance Productions is the best studio your child could go to! Not only is a place to get top notch dance training but your child becomes part of a family that helps you along every step of the way! Its a place that teaches dance disipline and loyalty. We toured several studios in the area before settling on Steppin' Up, and are so happy that we found this studio! My child has danced here for three years now, and the progress has been phenomenal. What sets this studio apart from others, for us, is their heart & their passion for these children. They truly seem to care about each child's progress, and making each one the best dancer that they can be. We have been fortunate enough to progress to the competition level with this studio as well, and let me tell you- these kids are good! Not only that, but they all have this genuine camaraderie and respect for each other that I did not observe with some other previous studios. This studio is like one big (and talented) family. \r The tuition is very reasonable, as are the costume fees. The costumes are always tasteful and age-appropriate, and when recital comes around at the end of the year- it is quite a show! My relatives commented at this year's recital that they enjoyed the whole show, not just the numbers that my child was in- which I think speaks highly of the caliber of dance and the studio as a whole.\r The studio offers combination classes of tap/jazz/lyrical ballet; hip hop classes and tumbling classes.
