Worst decision i ever made was to retain this man! he ""appears"" to know what he's doing and that's about it. makes unnecessary calls to charge you only to call you in for 1 on 1...

You did a wonderful job of taking care of my estate plan needs in my new Living Trust by dividing my assets between my new husband David, and my son Josh from a previous marriage. HORRIBLE! RUN away as fast as you can!!! 5/30/2007

Worst decision i ever made was to retain this man! he ""appears"" to know what he's doing and that's about it. makes unnecessary calls to charge you only to call you in for 1 on 1 mtgs to charge you then in court makes you repeat yourself AGAIN, oh of course charging you......does not have thorough knowledge of the laws so you better sharpen your knowledge and come ready to fight your own case, while he charges you, to be present. If you have money to burn pass it on to me so i can pay my bill with him and GO FIND YOURSELF A COPETENT attorney!!!!! Pros: easy parking Cons: incopetence, waste of time/energy, services entirely LAUGHABLE in a bad way more

Owner Message

  • Stephen E. Penner graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1971 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, he served in the Vietnam War as a Gunnery Officer on the USS Turner Joy from 1971-1973. Upon his return stateside, Stephen completed his remaining two years of Naval Service in San Diego as First Division Officer on the USS Prairie, as Shore Patrol Officer for Long Beach Naval Station, and instructed Naval Gunfire Support to the Marines in Little Creek, Virginia. Upon completion of his Naval Duty in 1975, Stephen E. Penner attended California Western School of Law. After 2 vigorous years, Steve graduated with a Juries Doctor Degree from Cal Western in 1977. He passed the Bar that same year and moved to Santa Barbara to open up his first law office on Carrillo Street.
