Summer Camp 8/13/2011

Just finished summer dance camp and it was fantastic! My daughter learned so much in just one week of camp. We will participate in this camp every summer from now on. She was worried because she didn't know anyone but she made friends and really had a good time and progressed quite a bit. We just saw the recital video and it was excellent. I was really impressed with the pointe dances. All the teachers are so nice and the service has been great. I love the huge parent observation windows. We did her registration online and it was easier than I expected. I like having all the prices right there online at the very beginning of the year. None of the other studios I looked at had their costume prices available yet. more

Bad Learning Environment, and Settling for Mediocrity 8/14/2009

I took a jazz class for about a week there and the first 2 days were excellent. I felt my flexibilty increasing and my technique got stronger but the attitudes from the students are deplorable. If your child is good and you know they are take them to a better studio because here the students call you a showoff and act rude towards the people who are good. You have kids who become mean towards the kids who pick up on stuff faster. The teachers are wonderful but they have a blind eye to this. Pros: Substantial Jazz class Cons: Bad Learning Environment, Rude Attitudes more

Child saftey concerns 5/27/2008

The teachers are great, but they are very unorganized during recitals. My 3 year old was missing for about 10 minutes after a recital. The pick up of the kids was like a free for all and no one checked the arm band the gave us moms to pick up our kids. They were very understaffed. When I called to complain about this to the director, she just shrugged it off like it was no big deal and just said that they would try to make it better for next time. I will never trust them with my child again! more
