Have The Breakfast 3/16/2006

This restaurant has good breakfast. I haven't had anything other, so I can't speak for the rest of the food. This place caters to large groups, which has made it a nice hang out for me and my friends. The servers are cool and attentive, and the atmosphere is very local. Try the pancakes. more

Great Diner 3/9/2006

Stella's is a great diner with food that's fresh and tasty, considering it's a diner. It's a great place to go for breakfast, I love their omelets. Another outstanding item at Stella's are the fries - crispy and perfect. Their desserts are also awesome and taste homemade. Definitely better than your average diner. more

Great Diner Food 3/5/2006

I like their service better than the other diners in the area, but their seating isn't as comfortable as Melrose or Clarke's. Stella's has tastier diner food than both Melrose and Clarke's, but isn't open as late. Bummer. If they were a 24 hour joint, I'd definitely go there for my late night cravings. Stella's serves a perfect grilled cheese and tomato, awesome fries and good fish and chips. The owner is so cool, he often visits the tables just to make sure his customers are happy. more

Diner Style Restaurant 2/19/2006

Stella's Diner is an awesome place to go for some really delicious food. It is a diner style restaurant that's a lot of fun with great food. They have a huge menu with lots of really good options. But I usually just go here to eat thier really really delicious fries with their home made chocolate milk shake. Its a really casual place to eat and its a fun atmosphere that you can bring the entire family too. more

Best Diner Food in Lakeview 1/16/2006

I am constantly telling people about Stella's incredible food. This is definitely not your medicore diner fare. Everything is really creative. They have excellent breakfast items, homemade dinners and desserts as well. I am sure lunch is good, but I haven't really been there for it. I live for their pumpkin spice cake with vanilla ice cream! The owners are always around and friendly. The only downside is that the food is so good sometimes you have to wait to get a table. more
