Stella Blues Cafe is good for dinner too 8/20/2009

We visited for dinner, although Stella Blues seems to be better known for its breakfasts. A very relaxed atmosphere with friendly service, which families with children might find more comfortable than some of the resort restaurants. The food was excellent but a little on the pricey side for a shopping center restaurant in Kihei. The catch-of-the-day was the best seafood I had on our trip (better than both comparable and higher priced restaurants) and the menu was varied enough meet a variety of tastes. I would go back - and would like to try the breakfast. more

Stella's Blues Cafe 9/15/2008

Great breakfast - did have a long wait. Had outdoor seating and indoor but still very crowded. Service was acceptable - because it was so busy. Reasonable priced - that's why it was busy. Not only tourist visited but also local folks. more

Overall nice dining experience. 2/3/2008

Stella's was close to the place we were staying in Maui, so we ended up eating here twice. The first time we visited it was with a group of 6 adults and 2 infants. Quite the group to serve, but the staff here handled us very well. I was pleased with how accommodating they were to our needs. more

Nice place in Kihei 8/16/2007

We've gone there 3-4 times while on Maui. You can sit outside if you wish, the food is good, and the staff was reasonbly attentive. more
