Bogus sale emails 5/14/2012

Its unfortunate that Stein Mart even bothers to take the time to send these beautiful emails on what is on sale. When u actually get to the store the items that they had stated was going to be on sale, is never the item you want , it's false and misleading...for example the ad read housewares 50 percent off, no wording of only certain housewares...but of coarse not the housewares you are interested in buying...this has happaned to me on more than one occasion and it won't happan again, I will not go back...I would rather shop at Marshall's/homegoods they don't run any sales but the prices are alot cheaper and no worries about chasing a sale that doesn't exist on items you really want... more

Absolutely no flexibility regarding coupons 5/10/2012

Went in on a Friday to browse and found something I liked. I had a coupon but it wasn't good until the next day. No problem right? Wrong. They were willing to hold it for me until the next day so I could drive all the way back to get it. Sure, I don't have better to do. Asinine policies, rude management, clueless district management. more

Great discount quality clothing 8/1/2005

I've been shopping at Stein Mart for years. It's much cleaner and upscale than several of it's competitor discount stores, and the clothing selection is very nice. I especially enjoy their children's clothes, as I am able to get such brands as Little Me, Good Lad, and Friedknit Creations. When they have their red dot clearance sales, you can get these great quality clothing for less than what you'd pay at Wal Mart! Join their email club and they'll notify you of all their sales! more

Stein Mart 7/13/2005

I like this chain of sores. They are one of the better stores that i have found. They are inexpensive and they hae good qaulity things. They offer different things in there stores. They have a lot of different items such as home decor, accersories, and clothing. I think that you can find just about everything that you need at this store. more

STEIN MART 6/28/2005

stein mart while I find a great selection of items in this store . I am also amazed at how friendly the staff of this esablishment is .i will not shop this store in the future because of the high prices. i was amazed that the prices were so high. while the selection it good it is not worth the price you pay in the long run. more
