On Jan. 18, 2010, I visited the Steepleton store in Louisville, and was assisted by Allison Graven, a family member of the Graven family who own the Steepleton company in Louisville, KY. I purchased what I was told by Allison was a solid maple Monterey Steepleton table. After purchasing it, I went to the Steepleton website to learn more about my new table and couldn't find the Monterey model there. Upon contacting Allison to ask about that, she told me the website was outdated and didn't have the new models. I asked for a product spec sheet and she told me there wasn't any. I found this strange and was becoming uneasy, so I did a Google search on the Monterey pool table and found it online with full color pictures - it is NOT AN AMERICAN MADE STEEPLETON, rather an import from a company called Thomas Aaron. Allison willfully attempted to defraud me. Shame on you and your family business. BUYERS BEWARE!! SUGGESTION TO ALL CUSTOMERS: Take your business to another dealer to buy a real American Olhausen, Brunswick or a Diamond table. At least you'll know your getting the real thing. NOTE: Steepleton will soon be an Olhausen dealer in Louisville, so I'd suggest if you want an Olhausen table, call Olhausen and find another dealer you can purchase from that you can trust.
Cons: Attempted fraud in sale of pool table
