If you don't mind having a c-section, the long miserable recovery that comes along with it, and the lasting health issues as well, then this is definitely the right practice for you. In hindsight, I would prefer a more experienced physician over someone who is ""sweet"", ""cool"", ""super friendly"", etc. Also, most of my complaints about things that made me uncomfortable during my pregnancy were dismissed with words to the effect of ""you're pregnant and pregnancy is uncomfortable so learn to live with it"" and yes, I am paraphrasing but that was the message that came across.
The c-section I ended up with as a result of having an inexperienced doctor who really didn't care what happened to my child or me so long as it didn't create any liability for her, and was most convenient for her, had effects that I will feel for the rest of my life. It is unlikely that I will ever be able to have as many children as I wanted to due to the inept doctor at this practice who delivered my child. I will probably be in some degree of physical pain for the rest of my life because I chose this practice.
Please, please, please do yourself, your spouse/partner and your children a favor and find another doctor. If I knew a few years ago what I know now (i.e., that pregnancy doesn't have to be miserable, that there are manuevers that a knowledgeable doctor can do during labor to get a baby out without resorting to a c-section, etc.) my health would not have been compromised the way it was by unnecessary surgery.
You cannot trust blindly that your doctor has your best interests at heart; please educate yourself and be prepared to be your own advocate. Your life and the life of your child(ren) will one day depend upon your ability to do so. I will likely never recover my health but it it not too late for you.
