My husband and I stopped here for lunch for the first time today. We will NOT be going back! Our waitress was very nice & helpful in making recommendations when we told her it was our first time dining with them. I ordered the chili burger at her rec & my husband got the super club. While waiting for our food, we smelled something burning & joked that we hoped it wasn't our food...it was! Our chips & fries that came with our sandwiches were brought out 5 min before the sandwiches & my fries were lukewarm at best. When we got our food, my burger was well done and bone dry (I had ordered it med well at the waitresses rec & figured it would be ok since it was a steakhouse & they should know how to cook a burger!). Every piece of bread on my husband's sandwich was burned. We called the waitress over and let her know what was wrong. She took my burger back and told the cook to redo it. I then heard him yell at her and say, ""How can it be dry with all that chili on it?!?!"" When she came back out I told her to cancel the order cause I heard the cook yelling and didn't trust what he might do to my food. I told her to just take it off the bill. We then asked to speak with the manager. He came over & didn't seem very pleased. We told him about my over done burger, cold fries & husbands burned bread. He didn't say anything, no apology or anything, and took our plates back to the kitchen. Whether he was mad at us for complaining or mad at the cook for sending out bad food, I couldn't tell you. We heard the cook yell at the manager, ""What?! It was only burned around the edges!!!"" Now, its not like it was super busy. We were the only people there for a good 20 min before another couple came in. The woman that came in after us sent her food back to be warmed in the microwave because it was cold!!! They did comp our entire meal and I have to say the waitress was mortified at our horrible experience. However, having a good waitress isn't enough to get me to go back there again! Other reviews on other sites have similar stories to ours however there were a few good reviews out there. I think the people who had a good experience were very lucky to be honest! I don't think this place should be calling themselves a steakhouse when they can't even cook a burger properly!!! Eat here at your own risk!
