Showed up ordered biscuits and gravy and all u can eat pancakes.. It took 15 mins to get pan cakes and than it took 15 more mins I get the other pancakes.. This place sucks wouldn't recommend it to anyone if rather go eat mcdoanalds.. Save you money and eat elsewhere.. more

Good burgers and desserts 4/14/2006

Steak and Shake is an interesting mix between an old fashioned burger place and a drive through fast food restaurant. Their portabello mushroom and swiss burgers are great. Some of their menu choices are interesting and their chili can be pretty watering. Their desserts and shakes are also really good. The prices are pretty high for a fast food place. more

Steak and Shake 4/14/2006

Steak and Shake is my favorite late night place to eat because it is one of the few places that are open 24 hours a day in the Urbana-Champaign area. Their premium steak burgers and appetizers are delicious. Did I even mention their milkshakes? Their food is a great late night snack for those of you who live at night! The only downside is that the food is very expensive for a fast food restaurant. more
