Steak In the City

Ok, so I don't much care for bad reviews. I care even less about giving them. But, in this one rare exception, I MUST warn my fellow gastrinoms of the total lack of service, disgustingly poor choice of salad options, and terrible meat selections at this restaurant. The food is goes down gaggingly as the non-existent wait staff watches drink rings form around the base of your empty glass. It must take a herculean effort to provide such terrible quality at such a nice location. And, after shelling out thirty bucks a head to eat crappy food... you make me GO GET IT?? No thank you. Pros: You can leave. Cons: Intestinal discomfort and a disproportionally light wallet upon leaving. more

Worst restaurant experience ever! You have to go up and order your meat then visit the salad bar. [Which is bare.] Once we picked up our meat and headed back to our seats [for the price you are paying you shouldn't have to do this much work.] the meat was cold and poor quailty. They ran out of chicken, salad and flan. We witness anyother family leave about 20 mins after they first arrived due to the lack of food and poor quality . They were still charged full price. Owner was outside and didn't show his face. My husband and I both felt sick later in the evening. Can't see this place making it through the month. Cons: Food more

The worst ""restaurant"" I've been to in my almost 50 years of life. From service to food just terrible, terrible, terrible! Pros: Nice view Cons: everything else more

Very relaxing atmosphere with wonderful customer service. Not too fancy, but a little nicer than an Olive Garden or such. The food is suppose to taste different, that's the entire point so don't go there if you're not one to experiment. I loved it and certainly reccommend trying it. The meats are cut different so don't expect the same flavor in the steak as you would normal American steak. Personally, I almost prefer the cut; it's just delightfully different. There are plenty of meats to choose from and you can try them all for the same price, how great is that? You're bound to find something that fancies your tastebuds. Pros: Parking, service, food! This place has got to be one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. The meat was so dry and tasteless, the buffet bar had flies landing on everything and most of it looked spoiled. The prices are outrageous as they're trying to compare themselves with Crazy Buffet across the street though they need far to go. Maybe this food is acceptable in third world countries, but this is America where you can buy better quality. more

The place is great, very nice decoration, the service is very good.The owners came to the table to check if everything was ok. The argentinean grill was awesome, and the buffet...well, I don't know of anything similar in the area...simply amazing! more

First time dining here. Went on a Saturday evening and was suprised at the lack of business. We were shown around the resaurant and we decided to give it a try. Many items on the cold bar were dried out looking possibly from sitting out a while but we were able to find a few items that were ok. Ordered our steaks and waited for them to cook. Went to the grill to retrieve them and the cook asked what side items we wanted. I proceeded to watch him take each side item and throw them in a microwave to heat them up. Everything from the grill area as far as side items were not fresh/had to be heated and were still cold. Baked potato was dry as a bone. The steaks we had were terrible. It was cheap steak that I could have gotten from the local G. Corral. If this place got crowded you would never get the steak you ordered. Waitress gave poor service and even left before we were finished. This was so unpleasant our stay only lasted maybe 40 minutes from our time of arrival. Pros: Easy to get a seat Cons: Not worth the money more

For vegetarian lovers, the buffet is great! You have many options...and here is the good part, you can take your meat lover with you 'cause it also has a grill with an extensive variety. Pros: ambiance service food variety more
