I had a similar issue with scheduling conflicts.  I always had a hard time getting through, my calls wouldnt be returned for days on end.... lots of phone tag.  I purchased a groupon package for SBS last year.  They told me as long as I came in for my first appointment before the expiration I would be fine.  I did.  Treatment was great.  Receptionist wasnt around when I left so had to play phone tag again to get my next appts scheduled.  I ended up having to reschedule those and was emailing with the receptionist to find alternate dates.  She stopped responding.  I spent the next seven months traveling on business almost non stop and rescheduling fell to the back burner.  When I finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel, I called to schedule.  Call went to vmail.  Not surprised.  Spent probably about two weeks playing phone tag.   The girl I finally spoke with told me my groupon was expired because it was their policy that packages would be forfeited if you didnt always have something scheduled, and since it had ""basically been over a year"" since i'd had something scheduled, mine was no bueno... Hmm... okay.  I understand policy but it would have been nice to know that upfront.  I tried working things out with the owner but she stopped responding after her first two emails.  What a shame.  Makes me feel like this place is more about the money and less about customer satisfaction.  Was really looking forward to the rest of my treatments. more

They really know what they are doing at Status Body Studio. I first came to Status Body Studio as a Laser Hair Removal client, but ended up on signing up for their membership program for my skin related imperfections. I expressed my frustrations with the fine lines around my mouth and scarring from past years of acne. I have since had two Pixel resurfacing treatments and I have seen such a huge improvement on the overall appearance of my skin. My pores are not so glaringly noticeable and my scars have faded significantly. My skin just looks and feels more even. I really appreciate how Terah commits herself to finding the best skin care solutions just by voicing my concerns. I feel really taken care of. I have an IPL scheduled in 2 weeks! Not to mention, I am almost completely hair free. more

After too many years of sun exposure, I had terrible sunspots all over my face. I scheduled an IPL treatment with Terah because she suggested it for my problem. The procedure was easy, painless, and relatively fast. I was on my way home in no time and had no downtime at all. Much to my amazement, my sunspots actually flaked off. Most were invisible after just one treatment. I highly recommend it for any skin problems. It even made my face look soft and supple. more

Amazing experience, and amazing results! I started going to Status over a year ago just for laser hair removal on my lower legs. I've now treated pretty much every area on my body, and LOVE LOVE LOVE my results! Terah (the owner) is the sweetest, and always looks out for her clients the best way she can! The staff is super friendly and helpful in accommodating your schedule as much as they can. They are always super busy, but that's a good thing to me! I always schedule my appointments in advance, because they book up quickly! Top notch! more

I first came to know about Status Body Studio through a Groupon that I purchased for Laser tattoo/Stretch mark removal. I got my first appointment sometime in June of last year and I remember being so nervous about the procedure, but from the moment I got there and Terah (the owner) started explaining the procedure, I immediately felt at ease, and from that first day I was so impressed with her professionalism and the way she treated each and every one of her clients with so much care and respect and how knowledgeable she is, not only with the services that she provides but even other esthetic services. Since then, I have been going to Terah for all my esthetic needs from Accent treatments, Laser Hair removal, Laser peels, stretch mark removal and I even have a makeup lesson with her in the works. If you're looking for estheticians that will treat with the outmost respect and not just a walk in or $$ sign, and people who are knowledgeable and great at what they do, then you should definitely give Status Body Studio a try, you won't regret it! more

I, like many others, purchased a groupon for laser hair removal. I was extremely impressed that the receptionist at the time took the initiative to schedule my first 3 appointments. Almost immediately, appointment reminders were sent to my e-mail. This made it very easy to remember and confirm my appointment times and allowed me to keep track of my number of treatments. I did not have any problems with scheduling my appointments especially since I had the option of e-mailing them to schedule my additional appointments. As for the treatment itself; it was virtually painless which surprised me because most of my other friends warned me about the pain they experienced at the places they went to. Either Terah has magical hands or the great conversation distracted my mind. Most of all, I loved the staff. They were warm and friendly and the atmosphere made me feel at ease and at home. Though it was my first appointment, Terah and her other staff made me feel important and not just like another coupon-customer. Oh, not to mention, I am more than impressed with the results. I am Indian and seriously doubted the treatments would even work on my type of hair/skin. 2 treatments in and my hair growth has already reduced by 90%!!!! YIPEEEE I am a believer! more

I went to Terah for a facial, and I ended up Lasering my Bikini. It only took 15 min, and just like she said, in 10 days my hair just fell out!! I can't believe I didn't do this sooner!! I have tried three different locations for Botox and Juvederm, including a doctor's office. My experience at Status Body Studio was by far the most pleasant. Dr. Dan is amazing! I highly recommend it. more

I bought a Groupon for Status Body Studio in October. The website stated that I needed to send an email to schedule and wait for them to call me. Two weeks later I was still trying to get an appointment. I was supposed to have a follow up appointment 6 weeks after the first one. Unfortunately, each time I've called the voice mailbox is full or they just plain don't return my calls. I've been trying 2-3 times a week for over a month. The studio itself is a one-room operation with only a curtain seperating the customer Teah is working with from the receptionist and the waiting area. If I could give it zero stars I would. Teah is nice but it's useless if you can't get an appointment. She needs to hire a new receptionist. more

I would highly recommend Status Body Studio to anyone. Terah is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. In regards to the negative review by malu00, no they don't always answer the phone or have next day appointments...but that's because she is so busy! Doesn't that say something if she always is with a customer? You can leave a message or send an email and they will always get back with you. Her assistant, Robin, is also very friendly. The bad review also said they don't do reminder calls, well she's right...they send a reminder email of your appointment. more

No one ever picks up the phone in the office. They don't return your calls until two weeks later. Appointments are not available ever. No reminder calls from them. And the front desk lady rude. I wonder if only one person is running the whole place by herself. more

I recently bought few sessions for laser hair removal and had all kinds of doubts and concerns going in. Besides the incredible deal I got, Tarah made me feel completely at ease.\r While she is extremely professional, she is also super easy to talk to and she cracks jokes and talks you through the uncomfortable and embarrassing parts of the treatment where you forget all about it, and before you know, you are done. \r Her studio is comfortable and inviting, she is very accommodating and the results are unbelievable.\r \r I would recommend her to anyone and everyone and cannot imagine using anyone else besides her for any future treatments. more

I bought one of the deals for an accent laser treatment recently and could not believe my eyes when I saw the results! Terah is AMAZING! She is not only incredibly nice and easy to talk to but extremely accomodating with your schedule. If I had more stars to give than 5 for her I absolutely would!!! more

My wife and I have lived in Mckinney for 9 years. We have been to every spa, massage place and salon in the area and had facilas, massages and other services done. We have never been happy with any of them. It was a blessing that we found Terah. We went in for laser hair removal and it felt like we all had known each other for years. Terah is a true professional who knows more about the body better than anyone in town.
