A lovely country themed cafe setting. Don't let the counter with seats trick you into thinking 'diner.' The food is top flight and the dinner menu is worth bringing friends. So I went to Station House because I remembered reading somewhere that they have a good brunch. Imagine my suprise when we arrived at 12:30 and there was no brunch menu. Apparently it ended at noon. Oh well, we endeavored to order lunch but the menu is pretty weak. All standard stuff performed poorly with no local unique character. I ordered a cup of soup and half a sandwich because of the lack of interesting options. The soup was ok, not great. Service on the other hand was terrible. Its a good thing I wasn't thirsty because my water glass was never refilled. I would have asked the waitress to refill it, but we never saw her again between her serving of the bill and asking her for the check. Food on the other tables looked equally unappealing. One poor soul appeared to have ordered what was masquerading as a panini. Be sure to stay away from them. Pros: cheap prices, small town feel Cons: almost everything else more
