I have experienced problems with my glasses and walk into Staten Eye Land with a recommandation from my friend. Spoke to the staff and I had an eye exam that day. The precription I was wearing was wrong and this is a fact when I received my new glasses 2 days later. The prescription I was wearing for 3 weeks was giving me headaches. I went back to the bad optical store and they kept telling me to just wear them and I will get used to them. WOW, what a con. I now see perfect and THANK YOU STATEN EYELAND. For helping me. Highly recommend everyone if your looking to see better to go to the name that says it all Staten Eye Land. Isn't that a great name for a great optical store. more

THE BEST OPTICAL STORE IN NYC 1/9/2011

I've been going to optical chain stores for over 20 years. Thinking I was getting good deals and decent service. After visiting Staten Eye Land and sitting down with Joe, he explained my prescription to me of which I never knew. All the products concerning lenses were explained and I was giving options to acheive my profile. I am an executive and never had time to discuss my eyes with a licensed optician. Well the frames look GREAT and my vision hasn't been this good in quite some time, YEARS. Good BYE chain stores. I will be going to Staten Eye Land and recommend others to do the same!!!!!!! more
