As the company we would like to comment to the below posting:
We are truly sorry if your child encountered a rude employee. We take great steps to be as courteous and helpful as possible; however, if one considers the following of protocol to be rude, the actual dislike is of the laws and procedure.
In taking information, we always give many opportunities to list all pertinent information. This also includes prescribed medications, however if a medication is not 'verified' or does not have cause in a positive, the medication would not have merit for the situation. In discussing results with employees, it is against protocol due to laws we must adhere to. Information and results are given to employers, from there employers may discuss if and why they have failed.
We do not judge why one tests positive for an illegal substance, we only test the specimen and result the findings. One cannot 'fail' based on attitude, testing is conducted in a laboratory where a specimen is only a number and bar code. Race, gender or personality has nothing to do with the outcome of results.
We apologize for the confusion, have a blessed day!?
Pros: we follow the laws and remain professional
Cons: we must always follow the laws
